Randall is a long term favourite of ours at The Blast so its an honour to have snared an exclusive promo mix from the great man. 

Randall is what they call an original Junglist, the DJs’ DJ. If you ask Andy C or Friction who inspired their mixing style, they’ll say Randall. He started DJing in the mid 80s after hearing acid house at Notting Hill Carnival and quickly fell in love with rave culture.  After making a name for himself on pirate radio and the illegal rave circuit, Randall’s career really took off with his legendary sets at AWOL and World Dance. He fast established himself as one of the elite of the emerging drum & bass scene, with an unsurpassed tune selection and an impeccable reputation behind the turntables that he has maintained to this day.  

Now over two decades since he started spinning tunes, Randall remains one of the most forward thinking musicians and DJs on the drum & bass circuit so its a huge honour for us to be able to host this mix.

First stepping behind the decks in 2021, Sister Smalls has been steadily building her presence behind the decks, playing a wide range of festivals, bars, and events across the UK. From intimate bars to major festivals, her sets are driven by a deep-rooted passion for music and cultivating a positive energy on the dancefloor.

A multi genre DJ based in Birmingham, with a strong connection to all thing’s bass, particularly drum & bass which runs deep. As the founder of Drum n Bounce—the pioneering D&B aerobics brand launched in 2012—she’s been championing the genre’s ability to uplifting and energise for well over a decade.

Her DJ sets are a genre-blending journey, weaving classic flavours with modern rollers. A natural selector with an ear for both nostalgia and innovation, this summer she’s shared lineups with the likes of High Contrast, Charlie Tee and Mark XTC as well as having the honour of warming up for the legendary DJ Marky.

Introducing Riddim Fi, Sweatshop's in-house jungle selector and producer; those of you who came last Sweat Skank saw the don play two sets showing both his techno spectrum and jungle prowess.

Riddim Fi was present when Sweatshop Soundsystem was born on the hallowed fields of Westival this time last year and since he’s been playing his hand at making bad boy, rude boy, original and proper jungle, no playground jungle shit, the real deal. 

He’s been building his rep in Southampton with the Dock 34 crew over the past 2 years, throwing sell out techno parties that people told him wouldn’t work in the city. 

Now he's kicking off our Sweatshop selector series with a 90 minute mix exploring the entire spectrum of jungle. We’ve been gassed since the moment we heard it, so share it with your mates, make house parties better with it and interrupt any wet mixes with the fire whenever you can. 

Also keep eyes on his on both his Dock 34 and Riddim Fi page for high grade tunes across the dance music scope. 

We’ll be bringing you more mixes going forward and packing our Soundcloud out with playlists that’ll get you out of any sticky sesh situation, you know the kinda one we mean so hold tight.
