He turns his expert hand to atmospheric DnB for Omni Music. The title track starts the late summery vibes rolling breaks, joyous synths, sunny piano and hypnotic drops of vocals. Signal Path is up next with more beguiling melodic hooks but on a more frenetic vibe as pounding bass and thumping breaks propel the track forward. Island Mist keeps the classic breaks flowing as it rolls effortlessly with double bass and enchanting synth hooks. The EP ends on the downtempo breaks of Rollin' the Dice a serene head-nodding journey through lands of synths, arpeggios and oldksool bass stabs.

For the 2nd set of the night we had Doc Scott taking it back to the 90's in front of a sold out crowd, this is the 2nd of the 3 recordings that we are uploading from this memorable mid-summer event. It was a special night in June of this year with 800+ people crammed into Xoyo's upstairs room (from pretty much before the very first needle was placed on the record until going past the nights extended close). Again a big thanks to Benji B for inviting us down to take over the room.

Here comes my first Atmospheric Session, for the year 2018. This time, there are some jazzier vibes thrown in for the flavour, also entries from artists or labels not normally associated with such music. 

To be completely honest, I recorded this mix in April already. I have an unhealthy habit of digesting the end result for a while, to listen to it through and through over and over again, to find the slightest mistakes. Perfectionism meets procrastination, so to speak. Fast forward three months - I reach the very same conclusion I usually do. This mix is great as it is, after all, it's all about the music. Each individual track has something to add into the blend, and my style tends to jump across different moods.
