The original version is more high energy with some vintage spoken word sermon, highlighting the track. The dub version is a slightly deeper more stripped down version with a sweet hook and vocal soundscapes interlaced throughout the track.

Don’t Push Me is another delightful 2 track EP with some sultry jazzy vocals, subtle bass line and some lovely, nuanced chords and pads laced throughout both tracks. The original version is more up-tempo with pulsating chords driving the melodic subtlety soulful sound throughout the track, while still maintaining strong jackin’ percussive beats.  The “Late Night Mix” explores a deeper, more underground sound. It features a lovely melodic but minimalist groove to the track along with a more dubbed out version of the vocals and a deeper exploration of the instrumentals.

The next release by Kingsley Flowz brings us 4 brand new tracks and the first in his 3 part series of Motown inspired songs. First up is the very catchy and funky “Baby Don’t Leave.” Next up is “Heaven’s Groove” a finely crafted vocal, jackin and Funky house Fusion.  Third on the list is “Something’s Got Me” which explores a more filtered feel with some solid jackin elements and drums.  Finally we round things out with a bonus deep house cut “Don’t Leave Me” ( this way), which is a pure homage to the Thelma Houston song of the same name.

After a long hiatus, dsev music is back with a sweet 2 track EP featuring the lovely vocals of Darlene DeVore. Luscious vocals, a catchy melody and high energy beats in both tracks for a solid funky jackin House sound. Both tracks deftly strike a fine balance between nu classic and contemporary jackin house. The original version includes a pulsating beat, while chord riffs and a understated melodic keys provide a high energy yet subtle movement throughout the track. The G-Mix provides a re-interpretation of the vocals gently weaving a catchy hook with groovy guitar riffs and a melodic bass line all come nicely together with just a touch of disco to put a fine polish on the track.

DSEV Music (dark side entertainment ventures) is the brainchild of DJ/Producer Kingsley Ndam was founded in 2004. At the heart of DSEV Music sound is the fusion of deep house and west coast house. From the beginning, the goal was to explore new and unique realms of house music that spoke to both their passions and influences.
This journey began many years earlier when Kingsley grew restless with the inability to find the sound that clearly spoke to him and his many tastes. He started by remixing singles with the elements he liked and playing them in his sets. Constant inquires by fellow DJ's and the audience about those tracks led to the first notions of creating a label. In 2002 Kingsley moved to New York and shortly thereafter the label took root. The label started releasing singles digitally and via vinyl and continued at a good pace until late 2005 when he decided to go all digital.
In 2006 the label got back into the swing of things and released 4 EP's that were well received. In 2007 the Feel Better EP and Soul Brother EP heralded in a new fervor with the label. It is also at this time that The label moved from New York City to Washington D.C. The release of the Girl from Brazil EP was Kingsley Flowz largest release at that time and the track received rave reviews worldwide. In 2009 Kingsley Flowz established his commitment to an underground house sound with Fresh and Funky EP, which quickly eclipsed The Girl from Brazil in sales. House Grooves EP once released outsold the other releases which confirmed that his and the label's reputation were growing.
Over the next few years, more releases followed and in November of 2012 his full length album and 25th release marks another milestone for both he and the label.
