Ctrl Z pronounced Control Z were a UK duo consisting of Tommy Dash and Nicky ‘Inch’ D’Silva as it's members. Well known in the early days of Nu Skool Breaks of producing high tempo hardcore tear out breakbeat they had over 50 releases on well respected labels of the time. Labels such as Against the Grain, Lot49, Botchit & Scarper, Passenger, Functional, Rat Records and Hardcore Beats. 

This mix from Australia's Triple J Radio from 2010 was personally ripped/downloaded by me and is a great memory of what Ctrl Z was up too music wise at that time.

With over 2 decades experience as a DJ and Producer Deekline has cemented himself in Breakbeat folklore with a huge back catalogue of music and mixes that can be heard and seen all over the interwebs. With early collaborations with his sidekick and friend Wizard releasing a full album called "Breaks, Beats and Blondes" on Botchit & Scarper Records in 2004. Another one in 2009 and 2 mix compilations.

Nowadays with tracks such as Got to Believe, Deepa and jungle anthem Good to Have the Feelin, with the legendary Tippa Irie, have picked up play and support from DJs such as MistaJam and Annie Mac, on Radio 1 and 1Xtra. Deekline is still doing the EDM business to this day, touring and making music.

Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn’t resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close. At just 21 years old, Alesso has quickly established himself as one of the most fresh and exciting talents of the EDM world, and with a flourishing back catalogue of club and chart hits already to his name and a reputation as a DJ that precedes him, this is clearly only the start for the supremely talented young DJ and producer. After the obligatory winter release break, Axtone Records are pleased to welcome Belgian brothers & super duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to the label for their debut single on Axwell's imprint.

Longtime friends of the label Dimitri & Mike have previously remixed, and it's fair to say made their own, the original Swedish House Mafia anthem 'Leave The World Behind' by Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Laidback Luke, Abel Ramos's 'Rotterdam City of Love' and most recently David Tort ft Gosha 'One Look' alongside Axwell himself.

'Wakanda' is perhaps a curveball to many fans of Axtone, though anyone who's caught Swedish House Mafia on their One Last Tour will have experienced first hand something a little bit like this. With its African chant and rock solid track, 'Wakanda' has captured the imaginations of the global club community both in the clubs and online.

Finally, for those who love a fact, which we of course do, 'Wakanda' is a fictitious country in Africa in the Marvel comic 'Black Panther'...
