The Paris scene has been going insane for a harder tougher sound with sick parties every week and an amazing community of producers putting out brilliant records.

We are back with another podcast and this week we have Remco Beekwilder joining us! The man behind arguably one of the biggest EPs of last year has been kind enough to do a mix for us and it fairly bangs. He's packed a lot into an hour!

The first time Paula temple played for us was at our 4th LUMEN event in villa on Culture Night in 2016, it was one of the most rewarding intense club experiences we have had to date. When she returned for our 6th Birthday we couldn’t have been more excited, it turned out it was also her birthday so got her a shared DSNT vegan birthday cake for her. 

Her set that night is a thing of legend, so many moments of elation, visual intensity, acid rawness. In short she banged it clean out, it was class. Everyone loved it, it was our last ever gig in Mandela, what a send-off Paula gave it. This will go down as one of our all time favourite sets and we honoured to release it to the world. BIG LOVE TO PAULA & BIG LOVE TO ALL OF DSNT GREMLINS THAT MADE THIS SHOW SO SICK. Can’t wait to see you on boxing day xo

DSNT Rave Tape 014 - Martyn Hare - Negative Surge

In 2016, Xiorro co-founded ALKHEMY & The Black Hole, the collective and rave with a mission to highlight diversity in techno. As the party gained international exposure while booking artists like Charlton, Remco Beekwilder, Under Black Helmet, Makaton, Myler, Keepsakes and AIROD for their US debuts, so has Xiorro. In 2018, he made his international debut at Tresor for the New Faces night and then returned a second time later that same year to play at Griessmuehle and at :// about blank for Staub. 2019 has already proven to be another big year for him, as he has been recently announced as Griessmuehle’s first international resident, played for Boiler Room: New York City & dropped the split EP, Double Dragon, with Buzzi on ALKHEMY’s new label, Whirlwind.

DSNT Podcast 103 - Xiorro

We've had podcasts from every other one of our residents, except for this guy. It's been a long time coming, but we've finally got one from Blark! 
For all our Belfast crowd, he'll need no introduction - but for everyone else all you need to know is that he's been DJing for over 20 years, he went to his first rave at age 14 and he's still on the go at 40 so you know he knows his onions! A big fan of all sorts of music, but he definitely works best when there's techno (and maybe a bit of trance) involved. Enjoy the mix :)

Next up on the DSNT podcast series is big man Lucass P repping the Molekul fam with an absolute smasher of a mix.  Lucass is one third of the infamous Paris 303 crew who have releases on Stay Up Forever (Lucass P / JKS / Mayeul).  He has a fresh release that’s just dropped on Molekül with a nasty remix from JKS & MAYEUL and support from Amélie Lens, AIROD, 99999999, Myler, Régal & Perc.

Safe to say we’re pretty excited to be releasing this one.

DSNT Podcast 105 - Lucass P - Molekül

For podcast number 106, we have none other than Mr Tim Tama! His blend of heavy ass drums combined with strong trance vibes makes him a firm favourite in DSNT HQ, so we've been looking to get a mix from him for a while. You'll have seen him put out releases on Remco's Emerald and also ARTS, but next month Tim is launching his own label 'Dreamscape Music' - and we've got a sneaky suspicion there's bound to be a track or two in this mix. 

So fire up Winamp and get it cranked!

Insane madness hardcore techno crossover from Somniac One. When we first heard this track we knew it was a good fit for DSNT, absolute stomper kick drum banger. No compromises - just flat out insane madness. Early support from Ghost in the Machine, Perc & Manni Dee

Somniac one bio:

Somniac One is a Lithuanian DJ and producer whose powerful sound and aesthetics have made her one of industrial and alternative hardcore's most exciting names.

Somniac One’s sound is intense, emotional, atmosphere-driven and technically precise. Her fierce kicks, combined with distinct, innovative sound design have made her one of the most respected artists of the new wave of hardcore producers. She has played at prominent hardcore festivals such as Defqon.1, Decibel and Masters of Hardcore, and she is one of a select few hardcore artists to break the mold and play at events like the Astropolis Festival, Motel Mozaïque, Bangface and Boiler Room.

Somniac One’s music is supported by some of the most prominent names in industrial hardcore and techno. She has released EPs on renowned underground labels Love Hz, Meta4 and Speed of Sound. She has also released several EPs on the nonconformist punk rock haven of hardcore that is the Rotterdam-based PRSPCT label, which now serves as her home base and booking agency.

tl;dr

Hardcore will surely never die, but Somniac One is here to make sure it doesn’t with her big-ass motherfucking kicks.
