This could be the biggest year yet for the young but successful underground West Coast techno label Crisis Of Man. This year alone we have seen them release the various artists compilation, with a whole heap of new names to add to their roster, the last single was from Perc and now Irish newcomer Lucid joins the family.
‘Chainsaw’ is a perfect example of his sound. Tough drums and a cacophony of hats create a wild, unhinged energy before angry, spiky sonics tease a melodic softening. Peak-time warehouse techno at it’s most uncompromising.

A rising star of the hard techno fraternity, Luciid is fast becoming one of the
hottest names in the scene. Quietly honing his skills in a quiet corner of
Ireland, Luciid has exploded recently with releases on Eclipse and Dense &
Pika’s ground-breaking Kneaded Pains including his remix of Dubfire’s
‘Soundbath’ picking up plays from Chris Liebling to Charlotte de Witte. Luciid’s
future-facing, energetically raw sound is what 2023 will sound like!
