Audio Recording on Wednesday afternoon

I decided to audibly cancel my justificatory writing, recording my voice and then applying Garage Band sound effect, of varying volumes, over certain parts of my reading.  I felt this was an especially fitting way to cancel the text because its topic was on the effects of noise and music.  I could literally demonstrate the effects of sound on normal text.  It created a very interesting effect, that I think enhances what I'm saying in plain text, and even twists the meaning in interesting ways by making certain parts indecipherable unless the listener has the actual text in front of him or her.

This track pairs an IDM compilation with Baudrillard's "Murder of the Real," a 1999 lecture given at Wellek Library of University of California, Irvine.
