HEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell yeah, finally this fucking thing is uploaded!!! I'm so glad to finally be able to release it. Everyone's been wondering what the countdown was for. I could've probably tried handling the countdown thing a bit better, it was more or less a last-minute decision. I wish I'd just waited a bit longer with making it because I was wayyy too stoked to wait on releasing this. Like, seriously.

YES I know the thumbnail is technically inaccurate to how battles look in Mother 3 since it uses the Ultimate Chimera's overworld sprite, I did not have the time and patience to redo the thumbnail whilst finding or making a battle sprite for it. I've repented long ago, I need not do so again.

I think this one was basically an excuse to make a Mother 3-styled remix of MEGALOVANIA, but I guess if there's any character you might expect to hear this theme when fighting them it'd probably be the Ultimate Chimera.

Also this is not a real Mother 3: Halloween Hack thing it was just. kind of the first "general concept" I thought of to link it to.

WOW this one's old, I made this one back in 2018. For as old as it is I do think it's held up quite well, honestly.

This was something I made for fun but one of my friends showed it to someone whose AU this would've worked very well for. Looking back, I wish I'd been able to get some more context on the actual context surrounding this (besides what would probably be "Typical Finale Replacement Context") to make something with more AU-specific nuances. Doesn't really feel right to say it's for Terrible Choices anymore -- no disrespect to Sacri -- but this is the best thumbnail I have lmao

The original SoundCloud description and the YouTube description are both way too specific so I'm just going to put a personalized one here. With quite possibly less than a minute to spare on my main SoundCloud account, I'm finally bringing over some of the really old stuff to various other accounts, including this one. The archival process will probably be a little slower, as it'll probably be handled a bit differently per account.

With this being to my recollection one of the first Follower Specials I did on my current SoundCloud account, though, I did want to take a little moment to reflect. I've come a pretty significantly far way since 2019! I had an old "thank you" Google Doc I wrote, in which I thanked in particular all of my friends at the time to whom I felt I owed my success, as well as more generally thanking everyone who took the time to show their support to me in whichever manner they did.

Looking back at that document is really bittersweet. A lot of these people I'd end up parting ways with, for one reason or another. There's a few people I've stayed in touch with. People whom I've drifted from only for us to veer back toward each other.

In six years time, a lot can change. In this time, I dropped out of one college, took a year to figure things out, then applied to and graduated from a different one. I've made a significant amount of new friends who are all absent from this document because I hadn't met them yet, or if I had, we weren't really friends yet. My social circle has changed quite a bit in that time.

I wish I could really say anything about the song itself. It's a six year old MEGALOVANIA for a game I really appreciate. A game which itself, of course, partially inspired the creation of the very song this was based on to begin with.
