"From Bollywood to Hollywood"

Following a prolific career as a Bollywood pop singer (under a different alias), Otm Shank is making his comeback - this time in Hollywood.

His debut track, 'Ravish', takes inspiration from countless love affairs in a genre Otm is dubbing Bollywood tech-funk, known for its bouncy bass heavy vibe, thumping drums, and off-kilter groove, mixed with magical and mysterious sounds from the orient and beyond.

To spice things up further, Otm elicits the remix skills of UK producer Jey Kurmis (Hot Creations, Exploited), who reworks the samples in his unique hypnotic style, as well as closer to home producer Iced Monkey (Twisted Shuffle, Mystic Carousel) from Bangalore, India with his driving minimal techno approach.

Hot off the back of its premiere on BBC Radio 6 Music and support from a diverse range of major international club and radio DJs, 'Ravish' marks the first release on Otm's new label imprint Pinkturban, established to spread his message of peace and love throughout the lands.

Otm's back, he's ready, and this time it's personal.

Next up on OneFold DGTL we bring you big things from Alex Lister aka A Lister. After smashing his remix of 'One Of A Kind' for OneFold Records back in 2015, the Leeds based talent is back, this time to take the reigns at our underground imprint. 'Future' is an absolute monster of an EP, with Lister's stand out original mix smashing all expectations and paving the way for two mammoth re-works from some of the hottest talent in the industry. 

Testament to his faultless production, Lister's original weaves finely tuned drum grooves through a chunky, rolling bass line, creating a solid, no-fuss dance floor staple. We then look to house heavyweight Jey Kurmis who's first up on the remixes, serving up a futuristic take on the track with assertive, high pitched additions and emphasised vocals. Mancunian Abode resident Jimmy Switch rounds things off, adding a new dimension with fast paced, melodic synths, ensuring this EP has all the ingredients to be one of the stand out releases this year.
