2015 has proved to be a year brimming with success for the Dutch duo Bassjackers. Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst scored a Beatport #1 with the exquisite “Memories” with fellow electro-house maestro KSHMR, launched themselves head-first into DJmag’s top 100 DJs list as a new entry at #39, remixed Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s global smash hit “Higher Place” to great response and played magnificent sets at both Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld this Summer. So, To round off this stratospheric year and to thank all their fans for their invaluable support, Bassjackers will now release what could prove to be their biggest hit yet, the brilliant “Bring that beat” available worldwide from October 26th.

“Bring the beat” encapsulates all of the traits that Bassjackers have become synonymous with in their rapid ascent to stardom: an infinitely danceable beat, wildly unique electronic textures and sounds, diverse breakdowns and  of course, a party starting attitude. With “Bring that beat” the duo have revisited the formidable tones of their most revered tracks, such as the aforementioned “Memories” and the outstanding “Alamo”, whilst simultaneously taking their flailing sound into new, uncharted territory. 

With this whirlwind year drawing to a close, Bassjackers can now rest easy knowing that they have more than justified their rise to prominence. With their entry into the prestigious top 100 DJs list and the huge amount of support they have received from fellow artists and their legions of fans alike, the duo have undoubtedly cemented their place at the forefront of this ever expanding genre. Carola's 'play it loud' - which first appeared as the lead and title track to his 2008 album released on Richie Hawtin's Minus Records. 
After multiple plays by Carola & Yousef, the circus recordings head reached a swift agreement with Richie Hawtin to release the impressive 2016 version without delay. 
The dance floor reactions both Marco and Yousef have had from the Mihalis remix have been phenomenal.
It's simply a banger... 
And the first time Yousef, Mihalis Safras, Marco Carola & Richie Hawtin have collaborated and contributed to a project together.

A Great Stuff favorite and creative workaholic Juanito presents his next banging release on Great Stuff Recordings, this time with team mates David Museen & Erik Christiansen.

The trio's "Una Lagrima" one-tracker consists of a driving house groove, rough 909 style drums, edgy effect-drenched percussion and trippy Spanish guitar and vocal parts. This will defintalely bring the heat to a dance floor near you!

Korpus 9 welcome Robert S for four new cuts of scintillating techno. The Portuguese artist also plays live and is a real techno talent who draws on a wide musical world for his influences while releasing on labels like Sleaze Records, Planet Rhythm and Robert Limited.

Opener 'Angels of Acid' is a driving, stripped back tune with a warped acid line. It has cowbells pinging up top and sweeping synths that will lift the club to the next level. 'Blood Receiver' is even more heads down, with searching synths spraying across the face of the cut, which is utterly mysterious and takes you down into a brand new realm. It's rumbling and arresting and designed to really draw you in.

'Espasmos' is then another chunky cut, with smart filter use building the pressure in the drums. Icy hi hats are layered over the top and the heavy kicks keep your body moving. Last of all, 'Acid From East' is a rickety techno roller, with more thoughtful pads bringing a sense of cinematise to the most physical of drums.

All in all this is another powerful EP.
