ZELDA

The Dual Drum Experience (extended) are a musical group from Viterbo, Italy. Born in the early months of 2011. The project consists of the presence of two drummers is unusual, but functional and amazing. As early as April of the same year promoting in "Retesole TV" a laboratory rhythmic, almost throwing in an immediate way the foundation of the project. The two aroused considerable interest in the context drumming. Two months later added drum machines Roland V-Drum in percussive set-up, allowing them to generate sounds of bass and guitar. In September, participating in the V–Drum World Contest 2011 with the video Illusion (instrumental) placed first in Italy and bringing them directly to perform at NAMM in Los Angeles. The video highlights a new style and powerful sound. The riffs are heavy, the rhythmic elastic and a range of frequencies typical of the low, makes the sound wall rough. The complex compositional structures resemble a rhythmic gear. In February 2012 a new video instrumental named Zelda with the help of DrumArt (first Endorsement of the band) and the collaboration of Roland Brazil. The style is pushed toward the matrix Avant- guard with a few electronic implants and more elaborate arrangements. The result is stunning. The riffs purchase additional notes and the sound is more compact. On September 4, 2012 a new job on youtube, but this time is not a video, but a " new track " from the name Prototype Biomechanical Mix. The track is even more extreme than Zelda creating a true example of Mechanical Groove Metal, for some it is the beginning of a new genre. The wall of sound is impenetrable . The exaggerated and rhythmic arrangements digital used almost as background atmosphere that create environments unreal, cold and aseptic. For the first time, although only spoken, the band makes use of a male voice and female mixed the track. The criticism is on their side, on September 13 participating in "Rise Up Competition", and win a tour of Sri Lanka with the Special Jury Award as the most innovative band around the Contest. The April 24, 2013 start for Sri Lanka guests of GIMF - Galleon International Music Festival which was held in the evening of 26 and 28 April to Galleface Green in Colombo.Currently, the band performs in show Avant-guarde, Tribal Dance with the support of Marzia Terziani dance, and Electronic Dance Music, Dubstep with the support of Xk to the console. Important and impressive style of the band contributes very effectively the impact scenic and instrumentation entirely unique. Paul Whitehead, English illustrator and musician, best known for having designed covers for Genesis and Le Orme defined them as the best innovative band of the last 3 years.
