The Change

Find Another Way is a an exhortation to stop shooting Brumbies from helicopters and find another way to preserve our native wildlife. It is from the point of view of the Brumbies themselves. It was written and sung by Robyn Youlten: Acoustic Guitar by Robyn Youlten; Flute parts by Chris Scheri; Drums and percussion by Liam Webb; recorded live by Chris at Liam's rehearsal room and mastered by Chris Scheri at Studio7.

She moved to a part of the country,
That soon didn’t want her around,
It wasn’t long before she’s moving on
Southern bound, from town to town to town. 

Met a young man by the roadside,
She just couldn’t run anymore,
He listened to all that she said
That no-one ever listened to before. 

Runaway and maybe you’ll find somewhere, a place,
A place to stay and feel that you’re safe in your own space,
But if the demons that you are running from are strong,
Then in your head you’ll find that they’ll follow on and on. 

She thought about all he had shown her,
And sensing her journey’s end,
She realised the safest place
Is where you finally find a friend. 

So don’t runaway and maybe you’ll find somewhere, a place,
A place to stay and feel that  you’re safe in your own space.
