Paarth’s musical journey started almost a decade back while doing his MBA in Toronto, Canada, but fate had a different plan for him. He fell in love with the art of psytrance. He feels honored to be officially signed to one of the top labels in the game, Digital Om and Next Generation Music. Over the years, he has released on record labels such as Digital Om, Tesseract Studio, Expo Records, Techsafari, Next Generation Music (brand new label from Digital Om) and many more. Rave Nine is a cross between Full-On and Progressive PsyTrance. He feels uplifting melodies are an essential part of his tracks, while still keeping his tracks on the darker side of the spectrum. He also likes to experiment with Indian and Arabic sounds to give some ethnic feel to his tracks. In the future, expect some fresh music that may defy most of the existing psychedelic subgenres... EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. About this mix, Rave Nine says: "Get into the flow state with this mix, which includes my favorite releases and some special edits I play during live sets, and it includes an unreleased track, coming out very soon. What is 'Serbian Style' and why? Well, let us tell you a short story. A story of small country on Balkan called Serbia. Land of 'rakija', 'cevapcici', 'kafana' and welcoming hosts. But also a home to some of the world's greatest minds, such as Nikola Tesla - inventor of current/electricity, without which, electronic music and psytrance would not exist.

Over the past decade, Serbia has grown many talented psytrance producers who became headliners at some of the finest parties and festivals all around the world. Our label, TesseracTstudio, has also grown and counts more than 180 digital and 30 CD releases over the past 8 years. All this lead to recognition of 'Serbian Style', which was actually first mentioned by people in parties around Brasil and spread by fellow artists from other countries, giving us idea of creating this unique compilation.

'Serbian Style' compilation is our way to say THANKS to all our fans, friends, fellow artists, promoters and people who gave birth to this amazing idea. Idea which is one-of-a-kind. Idea which brought 22 artists together in one story, working and breathing as one. Idea to show you a bit of Serbia through sound and to invite you to be our guest in parties, drinking 'rakija' or eating 'cevapcici' somewhere on Danube river. Let us show you 'Serbian Style'!

Ectima - Insanity

Twelve years ago, Joe (Hypnocoustics) and Angus (Mandala) met for the first time in a beach shack in Varkala and spent a special week hanging out, putting on small psychedelic parties and sharing music. Both were on their own personal voyages; Angus planting the visionary seeds for what was to become the stunning Mandala Goa resort in Asvem, and Joe on an audio sample and out-there-experience hunt - absorbing the vibrations of the sub-continent with the intention of bringing authenticity and inspiration to the still gestating Hypnocoustics project. 

Fast forwarding to 2012 and by a chance encounter they connected again in Goa. Both were struck at the power of manifestation in their lives. Angus had grown the Mandala Goa into an immersive yogic sanctuary visited by guests from around the world, and Joe was well on his way to being recognised internationally as one of the UK's foremost Psytrance producers and live acts. 

On Angus' return to the UK, the much anticipated opportunity for them to sit down in the studio together had finally presented itself and after many sessions experimenting and fine-tuning their creation, this is the track that transpired.
