After the inception of Dual Drive in 2010, Animesh has come a long way. Embarking on his individual musical journey by dabbling with various shades of rock and metal, he was always intrigued by different nuances of electronica. Having very diverse influences, the blend and fusion of his musical concepts inspired him to produce electronic music which immediately caught the eye of reputed labels like Twisted Frequency and Lowbit Records(Uk). With a couple of singles released on international labels, Dual Drive gained awesome momentum and popularity amongst the masses with groovy beats and underlying dark tones, climbing up charts with quick succession. Dual Drive was soon identified as a force to reckon with.

Opening for elite artists like Andy Moor, John Digweed, Norman Doray, Hernan Cattaneo, Lange, James Harcourt, Weekend Heroes, Emok, Proff and performing at par with them, he soon gained tremendous popularity and was the most preferred act to open for big hitters. 

The tenacity of his first performance at Crossfade music festival, Mangalore (link attached in press pack), was such that he was requested to perform there again the following year. Blue Frog, India's most reputed venue was Dual Drive’s opening platform once, but now, it has become a home ground with consistence performances that shake the very foundations of the club. 

Dual Drive’s knack for mesmerising the crowd with powerfull basslines and niche grooves time and again has proven to send the crowd into frantic frenzies.

The dawn of 2010 saw Dual Drive perform at various venues, and gaining international recognition. The highlight of his performance were the gigs he did twice at Guaba Beach Bar in Cyprus, a prestigious venue ranked 22nd in DJMAG. Another feather in his cap was when he performed at Lightbox, London with Fergie. With upcoming performances at the Amsterdam Dance Event, the exponential growth that Dual Drive is undergoing will soon make him a supernova in the electronic music scene. Dual Drive will be touring Europe in 2012 and has been booked at venues in Turkey, Portugal, London,
Cyprus, Amsterdam to name a few.

In only a couple of years, Dual Drive has already become a brand name and standard in the Indian electronic music scene with upcoming releases on Proton, Iboga, Weekend music, Lowbit & Twisted Frequency records.
