Sorry Records presents Push It (Remixes) — the brand new remix collection from Brooklyn- raised multi-genre artist XHOSA, with production from Riviera Records head X-Coast.

Created in the image of the classic major label club remix records of the 80s and 90s, Push It (Remixes) is a joyous smorgasbord of vocal club bliss aiming to bring the current NYC underground back to the days of Red Zone and Def Mix.

Xhosa (née Amhara Xhosa Rein-Burrowes) has spent the last few years making waves as an up-and-coming rapper, producer and singer-songwriter known for blending the boundaries of genre in order to form her own wholly unique strain of pop that has garnered the attention of publications such as The FADER, VOGUE, and Paper Magazine. VIBE Magazine dubbed her one of the women "running New York City’s underground music scene” and Vogue called her style “equal parts Jamaican dancehall queen meets Japanese anime heroine.” She’s recently collaborated with Colombian artist Manchado on his new experimental reggaeton single “Mona Lisa” which Remezcla called “otherworldly,” noting Xhosa’s “fiery flow.”

Built around an original mix produced by X-Coast (Steel City Dance Discs, Big Beat), Push It (Remixes) touches on a wide assortment of sounds from pop to hip house, r&b to breaks, Jersey club to UK Garage with both Xhosa and X-Coast contributing VIP mixes alongside perpetually rising heavy hitters UNIIQU3 (Local Action), and Interplanetary Criminal (Sneaker Social Club, Timeisnow, Kalahari Oyster Cult).

Borgo Dora is a multiethnic neighborhood located in the centre of Torino. A perfect example of inclusion between different people from (mainly) the Mediterranean area and home to Porta Palazzo, the largest open-air market in Europe.
In 1991, a newly born studio located in the middle of the district guided by Biagio Puma decided to give birth to a dance lp called Teknoafro with the support of local Techno dj Bart Spinelli. The title almost speaks for itself, mixing the Italian "Afro" dj culture and the new Akai samplers with 909-driven Techno rhythms. The result was impressive, giving birth to a quite unique recording that reveals many aspects of the '90s Italian dance creativity and tapestry. 
Dualismo Sound comes with a fully remastered selection of 6 tracks taken from the original lp.

Greetings and welcome from Axces. We're a small local Copenhagen community of friends and curious souls. This is our very first record. 

The record was created in 2017 at the professional facilities we've come to know as Nordvest Auto. On both tracks, you'll hear a lot of drums, some bass, effects, samples, vocals and sounds from beyond, we don't know how to describe. They've been tested on various sound systems during the past year, and we can ensure you that a flat EQ and max volume will suit the tracks almost anywhere. 

We really hope you enjoy our effort. If you should ever find yourself in Copenhagen Axces will provide counselling and guidance at own risk.
