“Chicago Lights” is the most recent single music release by Colombian music producer Alpha Beats, that pays an homage to Chicago, the place were House Music was born; a vibrant and multicultural city that has left a deep mark in the universal state of music and culture.  

The song was created using a chosen set of house music classic elements from different historic moments: an arpeggiated bass line, funky guitar riffs, lead synths and drum machines doing the classic 4 on the floor.  “Chicago Lights” takes the listener through a time-space travel from 2021 to Chicago in the 80s, to its streets and on direction to any of the favorite spots of house music lovers.

“Vibra Mi Alma” (My Soul Vibrates) is the result of a group of creative beings that joined at the exact time and place:  Jorge Jaramillo (worldwide known as Who Da Funk), New York born and Miami raised; an artist, a continuous explorer and researcher of his Latin roots.  Along him Bio Sessions, a Colombian collective artistic project working in music, arts, food, among others; a lifestyle conception based in balance, nature and good vibes.  And last but not least Danniela, vocal artist; a voice that clearly claims belonging to Colombia a land full of amazing talent.  These 3 universes connected in 2021 at the mountains of the Quindio region of Colombia, at the beautiful Bio Habitat Hotel, the proper place to create in the middle of the forest, fed by the inspiration nature gives to those who listen.  Jorge says that “having the chance to live in the Quindio region gave me the opportunity to really know what the Colombian sounds are about”.  On the other hand, Juan and his team (Bio Sessions), gave to “Vibra Mi Alma” that relation with the planet, a sense of union between the land, nature, and music.  Danniela brought to the recording the beauty of her voice.  

Every listener will find in this work a story made in music and lyrics that shows the face of Colombian music and Colombian House Music.  The essence of it: the lure of joy, nostalgia, nature, love, sun and stars that in the end summarizes the life in the Colombian mountains, a land of beauty, a land that makes everyone who gets to know it to inevitable fell in love with it.

It´s debut time on Dualism Records.  Even though the label was established in Miami, we are always thrilled to introduce some of the coolest and most talented rising new producers from our motherland, Colombia.  We present “Energy Love” by La Meyer.  Her real name, Nathaly Jennifer Rose Alejandra Borrero Meyer is pretty resounding as her music.  Her origins in Barranquilla, the city of the Carnival, Shakira, Sofia Vergara and foster home for Joe Arroyo, are colorful and pretty rich as her skills playing the Colombian tambora.  Later in his life, she got to live in Bogotá, the country´s capital, where she reconnected with house music, that sound she heard for the first time at her house with her older sister.  Years have passed by since then.  La Meyer made a life promoting parties and after making herself in the art of mixing.  Then, during the pandemic she finally made her music skills to the studio.  This is a first taste of it: deep, pretty 4/4 house music beats, with a unique groove brought from the roots of the Colombian Caribbean coasts.

“Energy Love” was inspired by the feelings La Meyer picked up from music during all these years, and the way how they take us to different moments, places and states of mind.  The record wants us to navigate around the role of music for human beings, how it awakes us to new worlds and heals us.  Find a pretty rich groove fully charged of Colombian folklore references: drums, chants among other sounds that gather some of La Meyer´s most precious music memories from Barranquilla.

Aunque el sello nació en la ciudad de Miami, siempre es un gusto para nosotros presentar al mundo algunos de las mejores propuestas de talentosos productores de nuestra tierra, Colombia, que ingresan con sus propuestas al escenario global.  Presentamos “Energy Love” primer sencillo de La Meyer.  Su nombre real, Nathaly Jennifer Rose Alejandra Borrero Meyer, es tan sonoro como su propuesta musical.  Sus orígenes en Barranquilla, la ciudad del Carnaval, de Shakira, Sofia Vergara y hogar adoptivo del gran Joe Arroyo, son tan coloridos como sus habilidades tocando la tambora.  En su adolescencia llegó a Bogotá, la capital del país, donde reconectó con el house music que ya había escuchado en su casa gracias a su hermana.  Varios años han pasado desde este momento. La Meyer dedicó su vida a promover fiestas inicialmente, y luego a educarse en el arte de mezclar y dirigir pistas de baile.  El paso previsible vendría después durante la pandemia cuando finalmente decidió llevar su talento musical al estudio.  Este lanzamiento es una primera prueba de eso: profundo, en ritmo 4/4 de puro house music, con un Groove traído directamente de las raíces de las costas del Caribe colombiano.  

“Energy Love” fue inspirado en las sensaciones generadas por los sonidos; en como estos nos transportan a momentos, lugares y situaciones, así como, la importancia que tienen para el ser humano, como nos despiertan y nos llevan a experiencias a través de la música, llegando incluso a sanarnos.  Encuentra en este sencillo, un groove latino de exportación con sonidos ricos del folklore colombiano: cantadoras, tambores, entre otros sonidos que evocan la infancia de su creadora y su origen caribeño.

Dreams of Life EP by Alpha Beats: A New Release That Continues and Evolves the Artist's Creative Concept.

Dualism Records presents the latest EP by Colombian music producer Alpha Beats, titled "Dreams of Life". This release is the culmination of Alpha Beats' creative journey, featuring a continuation and evolution of his unique musical concept. The EP is an indie dance masterpiece that showcases Alpha Beats' talent and versatility in producing electronic music.

The EP consists of two tracks, "Life in Blue" and "Technicolor Dream". The first track, "Life in Blue," is a cool, groovy tune that takes you back to the 80s with its synths and break drums. It has a Herbie Hancock-inspired vibe that will make you move your feet to the beat. The second track, "Technicolor Dream," features Latin drums and a 4-on-the-floor rhythm that reminds you of Miami's 808 kind of sound.
