Cotta is a Portuguese guitarist whose interest for music lead him to study jazz at age 16 where he learned the instrument and style from some of the best musicians in the country, playing in many projects from swing to fusion.
  He continued to develop his musicianship and moved to Rotterdam(NL) to pursue Bachelor's degree in Jazz performance. Time passed and Duarte's genres of choice have become broader and broader including Electronic music, Hip hop, soul, indie rock and many more giving him a diverse palette of sounds to draw from.
  In the last year he has become increasingly involved in the world of music production, fueled by his deep-seeded fascination with sound and timbre. This new set of tools proved to be a great vehicle for his musical ideas to flourish, setting him on a new path where he merges styles such as Jazz, soul and Hip-Hop to bring forth his personal sound and vision.
