Releasing my debut album has been one of my most meaningful life-experiences, and apart from the times playing my livesets, I seem to never have found a right moment to share it personally with the world. Today it has been exactly one year since the release-date, so this should be a good moment.

"Kindred Phenomena marks Mattheis' debut album. After two cosmic EPs on Nous'klaer and a mini-album on tape for Ecstatic Recordings, he now returns to Nous'klaer for his first full story. An album shaped for every occasion: driving from the city to the island, dancing in the living room, or raving at sunset. On Kindred Phenomena Mattheis picks up where he left off: 'Swell' serves as another episode of the prisms, the modular synth excursion of 'Bit Fragments' pushes his arpeggiator solos a step further, and album standout 'Ben_M' provides his most beautiful dance of melodies yet. Orsery, Bawrut & Sooma and set out to define one of the most fundamental notions in music : rhythm. 

Slowciety’s fourth release is all about the rhythm. Think percussions and samples, prominent bass-lines and a mind distorting pattern switching modular synth. With main stage tracks and open air pieces, Le Rythme covers it all. On this first EP, two original tracks from Orsery are set alongside killer remixes by the likes of newcomers and on-the-rise DJ like Italian producer Bawrut, no less. Serious drops abound in every track to deliver this love-filled EP.

Last summer we started our sub-label DUAT Moving Pictures just to release movie scores and we started the project with the soundtrack of the Netflix movie "Kidnapping Stella" by Michael Kamm. The idea was, to get those cinematic songs remixed by various electronic music artists and release that interpretation on our mother techno label DUAT. This is the first chapter with great works by Vril, Anja Zaube, Amin Fallaha and R100, available on Vinyl and digital.

It comes with some explosive remixes, too: Rigopolar switches the beats to four-four juggernauts and swathes the original's magic in heavy cosmic layers while Kincaid continues his impeccable vein of form with a moodier perspective, loaded with far-gazing synth spirals, tidal washes and slippery icicle arpeggios.

And the shivers continue as we huddle closer for the sweaty, dancefloor gem 'That Crisp Night'. A turbo cosmic boogie vibe loaded with sizzling synth slap bass and humanised keys, once again / AMBIANCE doesn't just hit the spot; this time he smashes it to analogue pieces. Good night!
