Our version of a crucial tune by The Tamlins, originally written by singer Randy Newman and also executed by Nina Simone.

"Tamlins — Carlton Smith, Junior Moore and Winston Morgan — were PeterTosh's harmony group and had been around since the late 1960s. They were known as backup vocalists for acts like John Holt, Barry Biggs and Dennis Brown.
Immediately after their return to Jamaica, they headed to Channel One Studio with Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare to cut Baltimore.
Released 40 years ago, Baltimore was a monster hit."

Dub Fever collective in tribute to the legend Albert Griffiths, frontman of the reggae band The Gladiators, passed away last december 2020. Rest in power.

The Gladiators - Can't stop righteousness (Tribute to Albert Griffiths)

Dub Fever is a collective born at the end of 2019 in Bari from the union of veteran musicians and young Reggae music fans, with the aim of bringing this music back to being played live and doing it in full dub style, following the mixing techniques of first Jamaican dubmasters.
The band reinterprets a repertoire of classics of Jamaican and English Roots Reggae but also brings to light lesser known auteur gems, in particular for the great female voices of the genre.
As the name of the group also recalls, the passion for this technique called "dub" is a fundamental part of the project, which therefore gives space to the drum 'n' bass section, hypnotic effects and singer that spreads powerful messages.
The use of tape delays, spring reverbs and other characteristic effects gives the band an original and vintage sound, as if you were listening to the B side of a 70's Jamaican 45.
The collective is already working to present unreleased songs and is currently composed of: Valeria Quarto (vocals and keyboards), Vito Giorgio (drums), Aldo Manbass (bass), Giuseppe Teofilo (guitars and dubmaster), Nicola Covelli (percussions) - Jahsef Covelli (percussions), Nicola Boccuzzi (guitars), Carlo Skin Up (bass).

Dub Fever è un collettivo nato alla fine del 2019 a Bari dall'unione di musicisti veterani e giovani appassionati di musica Reggae, con l'intento di riportare questa musica ad essere suonata dal vivo e di farlo in pieno stile dub, seguendo le tecniche di mixaggio dei primi dubmaster jamaicani. 
La band reinterpreta un repertorio di classici del Roots Reggae jamaicano e inglese ma riporta alla luce anche chicche d'autore meno conosciute, con un occhio di riguardo per le grandi voci femminili del  genere. 
Come anche il nome del gruppo richiama, la passione per questa tecnica chiamata "dub" è parte fondamentale del progetto, che da spazio quindi alla sezione drum 'n' bass (basso e batteria), ad effetti ipnotici e alla voce che diffonde potenti messaggi. 
L'utilizzo di delay a nastro, riverberi a molla ed altri effetti caratteristici dona alla band un suono originale e vintage, come se steste ascoltando il lato B di un 45 giri jamaicano anni 70.
La formazione è già a lavoro per presentare brani inediti ed è attualmente composta da: Valeria Quarto (voce e tastiere), Vito Giorgio (batteria), Aldo Manbass (basso), Giuseppe Teofilo (chitarre e dubmaster), Nicola Covelli (Percussioni) - Jahsef Covelli (Percussioni), Nicola Boccuzzi (chitarre),  Carlo Skin Up (basso) .
