Ethnomusicologists look at ethnic and multi cultural music from beyond a purely historical perspective, but as a reflection of music as its cultural contexts, raising awareness of the similarities in the psycho-physical constitution of mankind as a global village." This compilation is a timely expression of these principles in action, bringing the talents, dynamics and inspirations from a truly global collective of musical pioneers, focussed on the fusion of modern digital structures with ancient ethnic rhythms, instruments and elements from around the globe. Son premier opus « YES PAPY » (2018) est une première entrée en matière dans l'univers du beatmaker. Sombre et délicate, la beat-tape nous fait voyager entre fées et dragons, angoisse nocturne et insomnie. Toujours en recherche de profondeur sonore, Al Safoom à mis le travail de texture au centre de la composition de « YES PAPY ».
La beat-tape à été utilisée par l'artiste sculpteur Pablo Reinoso pour illustrer son travail pendant la FIAC Hors les Murs 2018.

Guitariste autodidacte, passionné de musique, avec des goûts éclectiques (musique classique, drum and bass, death metal, reggae...),  Sid3 Fx aka Dub Size fait de la MAO depuis une dizaine d'années. Il est influencé par le dub électro français depuis l'adolescence (Kaly Live Dub, High Tone, Brain Damage et Kanka notamment) et essaye dès lors de créer un dub original et de qualité, à la fois dansant et planant. Loin de se contenter d’utiliser des samples préexistants, Sid3 Fx crée lui-même ses sonorités et ses morceaux à partir de ses instruments (guitare, percu, kalimbas,...), mêlant rythmes entraînants et mélodies rêveuses, hypnotiques. Depuis peu, ses horizons niveau composition s'élargissent avec la création de tracks abstract hip-hop.
