● CALL SUPER :
Call Super de son vrai nom Joseph Richmond Seaton, est un DJ et musicien londonien qui s'est taillé une place à part dans le paysage de la musique électronique. Définie par une approche méticuleuse de la composition, de la production, de la direction artistique et de la présentation de son travail, chaque sortie incarne la vision idiosyncrasique de Joseph. C'est un monde coloré qui donne vie aux ombres et jette une brume sur les frontières qui sont devenues courantes dans la musique électronique. Son disque The Present Tense a été le point de départ de Houndstooth (le label de la boîte de nuit londonienne fabric).

● BARBARA BOEING
Bárbara Boeing est considérée comme l'un des principaux noms de la scène électronique indépendante du Brésil. Approfondissant ses recherches musicales depuis plus de 10 ans, elle construit des DJ sets autour de différentes de cultures et rythmes. Outre son expérience des platines, Bárbara, qui vient de Curitiba, est également responsable de nombreux projets qui ont changé la vision de sa ville et de la nuit. Elle est également co-fondatrice et résidents de "Alter Disco", qui est devenu un synonyme de liberté d'expression dans son pays.

● Dub Striker
Lors d’une release party au Rex club à Paris organisée par le label Pont Neuf en 2019, Trax magazine présentait les Dub Striker comme étant « les jeunes ténors de la house française » auprès des artistes ; Ethyène, Tour-Maubourg, Madcat, Vitess, Chevals, KX9000, Yann Polewka et Deborah Aime La Bagarre.
À leur actif plusieurs « various artistes » sont signés sur les labels : La Chinerie, Imported, 124 recordings, Grand Cru Paris, STRCTR, et Madhouse le label de Kerri Chandler.
Les Dub Striker débute l’année 2020 avec deux événements majeurs ; d’une part la sortie vinyle sur le label Happiness Therapy ( un label lyonnais qui ne cesse de faire parler de lui autant pour ses soirées que ses sorties vinyles), d’autre part le lancement de leur propre label « don’t Need A Million » avec Davelly. Nouveau membre de l’agence Dazel Agency, le duo Dub Striker continue sa bromance !

Nova Danse à l’Embuscade de la Major. C’est une première et c’est à Marseille. On ne me parlera pas d’heureux hasard dans une ville qui quoiqu’on en dise, quoiqu’on en pense, est à jamais la première ! Première donc de ces Nova Danse, le nouveau rendez-vous des clubbers sur les ondes de Nova, le premier soir du week-end. Fini la teuf d’appart, désormais chaque vendredi de 22h à minuit, Nova et son Manège à Trois s’invitent dans un club et convient un ou plusieurs DJs pour un set en direct sur les ondes. Pour cette première, Smael B, les deux Théo, Wizman et Sebald, et Malo Williams convie à l’Embuscade de la Major, l’antre hivernal du Borderline crew, la paire Dub Striker, Wilko et Olivier qui croisent incunables et nouveautés house. Ni plus, ni moinse ! On est bien à l’Embu et sur les ondes. La preuve, c’est qu’ici avant et après, les gars du Manège à Trois , Smael, les deux Théo, Malo et ma zigue taquineront les platines pour un teuf plus dense encore, pour un Nova Danse à jamais le premier, donc d’entrée de jeu dans les annales ! (De 19h à 2h du mat à l’Embuscade de la Major — Place Albert Londres/ Quai de la Tourette — 13002).

Launched in 1992 Madhouse Records Inc was a joint venture between US DJ and producer Kerri Chandler and Mel Medalie’s Champion Records. Mel met Kerri on a trip to the US whilst visiting Todd Terry at Idler’s Studio in Brooklyn (whose Royal House project was later released on Champion).

Madhouse became predominantly an outlet for Kerri’s music, as well as tracks from his producer friends and tracks he came across through his extensive DJ experience. The sound of the label was rooted in Deep and Soulful House, some instrumentals but on the whole full vocal tracks.

The first release on the label was a 6-track sampler entitled “A Basement, A Red Light & A Feelin’” which showcased some of the artists and releases to come, and sold in excess of 100,000 copies on vinyl alone.

Singles and EP’s followed from Matrix (one of Kerri’s own aliases), Dreamer G, Christopher McCray, mostly produced, co-produced or remixed by Kerri himself. The catalogue also features collaborations with Jerome Sydenham, Dennis Ferrer (whose recent release “Hey Hey” is one of the biggest club smashes in recent history), and even Jazz legend Roy Ayers on the huge “Good Vibrations”.

Into the 2000’s Kerri put together two albums, the first being “10 Years Of Madhouse”, a retrospective mixed CD looking back at some of the major successes and favourite releases over the life of the label, as well as some hand-picked new tracks from Christopher McCray and Dee Dee Brave. In 2002 a second volume of “A Basement, A Red Light & A Feelin’” featuring some brand new tracks, and some classics, plus a bonus CD of the album mixed live at Centro Fly, New York was released, and gained huge sales and critical success.

In 2010 the entire catalogue of singles, EP’s and albums has been completely remastered and made available for digital download for the first time, including some previously unreleased rarities.
