Entering the new decade in style, Digital Terror Records stands ready to continue to the mission of filthy bass and bashy tracks to wreck the rave to pieces. Maintaining a commitment to developing and nurturing the artist, the label proudly unveils a brand new EP from alumnus Jack The Ripper aka JTR. With a busy DJ schedule, and increasing back catalog, his popular mix series garner thousands of views and continues to grow a unique force internationally. Tearing the scene to shreds since his ‘Tactical EP’ debut on DTR, he returns to the camp to deliver the next chapter in the saga: Directions EP. 


‘Direction Course’: What can be said about this tune but one word: Nasty. Jack The Ripper introduces the EP with his latest work and aims to please the fans. Drawing from a melancholic guitar twanging softly in the intro, its suspenseful drop spirals down into a tortured, demonic baseline that’s  ready to distorted for the complete with emotive slices of melty vocal ad-libs. 

‘In your Eyes’: This is the track you want to drop when you need fire in the dance. Enter the sublime with cool liquid pads and shiny hats while you creep into the full on gun finger reggae salute. Calling on the soul pioneers of dub, this cut is both funky and dark at the same time with a sub bass sure to push the panels apart on any sound system.

‘Changed’: ‘Changed’ drops an atmosphere thick with tension and horror strings ripped straight out of a Hollywood slasher flick. Expect the unexpected while the stinging synths make their way towards the top of the track but by bit until you’re on the edge of your seat. This is classic JTR through and through with a skank inducing beat combination of crashes/claps and menacing bleepy bass tones.

‘Died This Way’ (Ft. Master Error) - Enlisting the talents of producer Master Error for a full on murder spree, the final entry confirms the Directions EP as one of the filthiest the year has seen yet. Setting a dense vibe with a cold, futuristic landscape, the break neck pace goes into full swing once the snares start to roll higher and higher until: BOOM. An amazing symphony of grimy bass sounds talking back and forth atop a drum kit that sounds like it was recorded in a scrap yard. Welcome to your demise!
