Im Mai dieses Jahres startete die neue EU-Förderinitiative Music Moves Europe. Die Europäische Kommission will mit diesem Pilotprojekt die Rahmenbedingungen für ein neues Förderprogramm ab 2021 ausloten. Music Moves Europe soll zukünftig helfen, die durch den technologischen Wandel bedingten Herausforderungen für die Musikindustrie zu meistern. Unterstützt werden u.a. der On- und Offline-Vertrieb europäischer Werke, die Entwicklung des künstlerischen Repertoires, die grenzüberschreitende Mobilität oder auch die Professionalisierung von Künstler*innen und KMUs im Musikbereich.

Barbara Gessler – Leiterin des europäischen Förderprogramms Creative Europe KULTUR bei der Europäischen Kommission – stellte die neue Pilot-Aktion am 1. Juni in Berlin vor!

Welche Chancen das neue EU-Förderprogramm für die Berliner Musikszene bietet, wie die Details zum Antragsprozess und die Bewerbungsmodalitäten aussehen, welche weiteren Fördermöglichkeiten es auf Bundes- und Landesebene bereits gibt, wie sich die verschiedenen Programme ergänzen und vieles mehr wurde anschließend mit Gregor Hotz vom Musikfonds e.V. und Katja Lucker von der Musicboard Berlin GmbH diskutiert. Denn: Der Dreiklang aus EU-, Bundes- und Landesförderung bietet viele Anknüpfungspunkte.

Music from one of the most beautiful mornings of my life. Thank you to everyone who danced into this perfect day with me.. 
Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)
