Played live on Ecstatic Hof HaCarmel at HaMa'ayan (Ma'ayan Tzvi Industrial Area) on 25.2.23, this set was perhaps my most flowing and fun to play up to now in Ecstatic Dance Israel. 

About 50 beautiful souls chose to come on a sunny winter Saturday afternoon, and dance their hearts (and pelvises)out with me. 
I am so f@#^in' humbled by that.

Happy Mothers day <3

I was invited to play in Khulana event in The Hague in the Netherlands, and prepared a unique journey for them, as I usually do.

During the opening ceremony, I realized it was mother's days in the Netherlands, as both the ceremony and the warm up exercises were about motherhood and connection to the earth.

I felt called to bring these elements into the dance journey, so I changed the set I've prepared to include many more songs featuring motherly and feminine voices and themes. 

I also noticed that actually I already had many feminine songs in my original set.

I was touched by how playful and expressive people were, and the fact that the age range went from 5 to about 70.

I am grateful to Jade and Joshua for this special collaboration and all the beautiful moments we spent. Traveling so much isn't easy, but co-creating with such special people more than makes up for it.

I feel soo happy & grateful to have been part of this celebration of Love & Friendship! 
This Set is rally special to me for multiple reasons... to start with i really had no clue where the journey would go and so it was a very spontaneous live selection that in its unfolding became a treasure collection of mostly old tracks that to me are timeless... and then the place it all took place is simply pure bellezza (beauty) and vibrating with love for detail & art combining nostalgia & modern technology  seamlessly... and last but not least I had the hour & pleasure to play for many of my dearest friends and and a radiating husband & wife. 
Thank you from the bottom of my heart dear Wanda & Marc for being such an inspiring example of a Sacred Union and such a beautiful & loving Family with your amazing Kids.

This curation of tracks proposes an interlude in the Olorun project. It returns to the acoustic sound of the early works while embracing the newer break-bass language. Rather than a retrospective or a preview, it unfolds as an interlude.

Here, instruments are both acoustic and digital, dry percussions meeting coded synthesis and numerical patterns. The music creates a tension between trans acoustic textures and algorithmic rhythm, like breath against computation.

Each track inhabits this in-between state. It traces the subtle passage from one form to another, from organic vibration to synthetic topology and reveals that these ideas are not separate, but part of the same evolution.

To the severity of the situation
For a moment it is scary
Then I think
Of all the lessons it has thought us so far on forgiveness, communication, care for others and the self (which we often forget ironically), family, responsibility, hygiene, work, how awesome the internet is, how fragile we are as humans and our institutions even more
How our governments are not qualified to govern and, how corporations put profit before people
Yet we are pretty awesome, we cheer each other up, we play music on balconies and have neighborhood concertos, we give each other advice, we care about each other
It showed us the goodness in us
The goodness that we had long forgotten
Because we are too busy all the time
Too busy that we forget to live
We forget where we are
We forget who we are 
And we just keep doing whatever it is we are doing
And if we are lucky enough, we get to choose what we wanna busy with
And in the worst case scenarios we get programmed
And this brings up the question of real freedom and free will
Like machines put on automation
Narrowing down our focus and away from each other to the point where we sometimes we pass each other by in the streets but no one sees the other
Lets liberate ourselves from mental slavery
And get back our long lost freedom
Lets be the captains of our own ships
And shift the focus towards the light

Its time to clean the closets of our minds
Throw out the nasty stuff
(Clean the spider webs
Dont kill the spiders though, 
just put them outside and let them be)
Go back to basics and Simplify
Slow down
Because time is ticking
When we are running
We are missing out on all the beautiful scenery
But when we stop
Time stops too
And we have all the time in the world to live
