This August the SHIBUI label step up for the fourth outing on their digital offshoot. Heading up the release is producer on the rise Johnny Hulus with 3 original cuts, and a dynamite remix from the acclaimed Olivier Romero. A slick blend of house, and classy minimal textures for your collection this summer.

Opening track “Dusty Dub” is built upon punchy house drum patterns and side winding bass line, twisted beeps and bleeps combine with the trippy vocals making this a solid peak time outing. “Pickle” switches things up as nostalgic and dusty broken drums combine with a low swung elasticated groove. The last encounter with Johnny “Ocean Breeze” sees the EP enter deep house territory with a minimalistic twist, emotive synths wander around the hypnotic loops, proving the versatility from the talented producer. Closing out this essential piece is Drumble Music’s Olivier Romero, with a remix of “Ocean Breeze”, the pensive quest simmers throughout, creating a distinct atmosphere for the floor.

Club Midi resident since 2007, Mihai is definitely one artist to look at. He is returns on vinyl after a very prolific 2017, landing his new work Adult Contemporary on aNBu Music label.

The Brussel label is designed to release music from a close circle of passionate artists, and this release follows the same principle.

The track chosen for the premiere is A1, License, a stripped down dark minimal roller. Here Mihigh is not afraid of pushing some boundaries to the darkes corner of music, where spectral sounds are alternated with broken vocals resulting in an intoxicating yet charming groove.
