Seasoned remixer Matt Edwards, AKA Radio Slave, closes out his Rekids label’s 2024 with three reimaginations of some of the imprint’s biggest tracks of the year, extending the runtime of all versions beyond the ten-minute mark for wonderfully expansive journeys reminiscent of Edwards’ early dub days.

“Sometimes, you just need to scratch that itch, and I’ve wanted to add my twist to these tracks for quite some time. I am revisiting a period of my productions where I just let things flow. Moodena & Charles Levine’s ‘Badman’ is up first, with Radio Slave stripping it of its larger-than-life classic House sounds and turning it into a low-slung hypnotic ‘T ell Me Something’ dub. He reworks Man Power & Louisahhh’s ‘We Trawl The Hurts’ next, an introspective trip with daydream piano keys and an irresistible organic groove. Finally, Rekids favourite Hilit Kolet and her ‘Snap T alk’ face Edwards’ deep, chord-infused drums, welded seamless and smooth with Kameelah Waheed’s iconic vocal from the original.

Radio Slave ‘Rekids’ Remixes is classy business from a remix veteran still at the top of his game after more than
twenty years.

Survival Tactics label boss Tal Fussman starts 2025 with the ‘Everybody’ EP, arriving on the label 28th February 2025, featuring two massive remixes by KiNK and Elisa Bee. Fussman’s titular single, ‘Everybody,’ sees dub chords tumble over a steady beat, a vocal sample keeping pace before shimmering keys create a gorgeous dance-floor moment at the halfway mark.

Stepping up to remix Tal Fussman's ‘Everybody’, Sardinia’s Elisa Bee infuses the track with swinging organic rhythm, resampling the original’s chords into a playful stab bouncing off the drums while stripping back the vocal. Bulgarian lynchpin KiNK then flips ‘Everybody’ into a strobelight-inducing cut complete with bubbling synths and rave-ready hoover sounds, contributing his tried-and-tested flair to an EP that is the complete Techno package. Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner Tal Fussman is known for his varied discography on labels such as
Innvervisions, Drumpoet, Dyinamic, Laurent Garnier’s COD3QR, and Radio Slave’s Rekids. He now returns to his Survival Tactics label with ‘Everybody’, a versatile offering that’s already supported by the likes of Honey Dijon, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, and many more.

Rekids welcomes back Tal Fussman with the I Feel EP, following up his 2024 Definition EP on Radio Slave’s label, which won support from the likes of Honey Dijon, Orlando Voorn, Yu Su, Saoirse, Dave Clarke, and more.

The Innvervisions, COD3QR artist and Survival Tactics label boss starts I Feel with the title track and, in true Fussman fashion, infuses drummy club cuts with plenty of feeling via soulful synths and apt vocal sampling.

The rolling organic percussion of MAD continues, locking us in the groove while hard-hitting stabs fly above before Bongo Man channels the lush sounds of the rainforest alongside more expert drum work.

Closing out the I Feel EP, Tal Fussman works with fellow producer 8-AN to drop the dream-like strings of Life Itself, another deep track that is as club-ready as it is introspective.

Pets Recordings is delighted to welcome our dear friend and Italian Stallion, Bawrut, back to the label for the first of two EPs crafted during one of the most transformative moments of his life - awaiting the arrival of his first child. We proudly present: 'Papa Bawrut 1'.

In Italian, 'Papa' carries a dual meaning: both the affectionate name for a father and the revered title of the Pope. While we won't be anointing Bawrut as an earthbound deity just yet, we do kneel before his almighty beats and dancefloor mastery.

The EP opens with 'Gallopp', a track born from rediscovered sound files buried deep within Bawrut's laptop. As he puts it:

'The metallic sounds and percussive pace remind me of a horse galloping. or maybe it's my little one, kicking like a future champion.'

Following this is 'Good', a tune that lives up to its name. Inspired by a Daft Punk documentary stumbled upon on YouTube, the track originally bore the working title 'DP 1' before evolving in line with its irresistible vocal sample. Making it pretty damn good!

With 'Papa Bawrut 1', our prolific pal delivers two sizzling club-ready cuts, designed with one mission in mind - making people move.
