Dubkasm’s thirtieth release on their own label takes the classic soundsystem format of four wild cuts of one pounding digital dub. The format is time-honoured, but King’s Music - which has been run hard on dubplate by the kings of Year 3000 style, Iration Steppas, and French dub ambassadors OBF - is at the cutting edge of reggae. It has mashed up festivals around the world and was one of the high notes of Dub Camp 2019 where Dubkasm rumbled the Dub Club arena.

Majestic FM pads wail and trill through a boss phaser pedal, pushed onward by rugged digital subs and propulsive, steel-edged percussion. The EP builds until Dubkasm pull out the resonant bass filter for the brutal final cut.

In late 2015 after successfully releasing our first 7" and 10" we decided to release this long time Dubplate played by just a few Soundsystems worldwide and championed by Iration Steppas called Brixton by Violinbwoy. Slow, heavy and rough dub that made all the people crazy in the dance. Of course we sent Mark Iration more mixes and he rinsed them hard. Release was a big success and was repressed few years later. 
Now is the time for those Dubplate mixes! 
Cut in Brixton, SW2 London, UK to transparent polyvinyl.
Sounding crisp and heavy as usual.

Violinbwoy - Brixton Warrior Ver. 1

Dubkasm are comprised of childhood friends Digistep and DJ Stryda, who kicked off their dub project in the mid-'90s before going on to launch their Sufferah's Choice label in 2003 in order to showcase their studio productions. Their 2009 debut album 'Transform I' was a culmination of their work so far, collecting tracks from their previous 12-inches and including vocal turns from Dub Judah, Levi Roots and Afrikan Simba. A dub version of the entire record along with a remix CD completed the Transform I Trilogy in 2010.  

Dubkasm continue to push out a positive message through quality roots and dub reggae productions and regular live shows across the globe.
