This is my compilation of all my favourite tracks i found throughout 2023 , as well as a few bangers from other sets!
Originally there was meant to be a video clip to along with this set , Unfortunately i was travelling at the time and the audio file wasn’t recorded at a useable format. 
Will be Filming a high quality hour long set with MC’s  Lighting and a well tuned audio recorder😆

An intrepid traveller hailing from the humble isle of lutruwita (Tasmania), Swaz Benjamin draws influence from a heady variety of sources - from roots & world music, rock & neo-soul, to boom bap & lofi beats, funk & spoken word poetry, to grime & trap, reggae & future beats. On his new single “Wild Style” the music carries on from where he left us after his first studio album “Souled Out Volume One: Daze Gone Bye”. The sound is rooted in soulful boom bap with a modern twist and features live instrumentation in the form of warm wah guitar notes from the song’s producer AO, funked out slap bass from Hugo Bladel and a soaring be-bop trumpet solo from Jim Verrall (Lazer Baby, Baba Bruja). AO (who’s most recent production credit was for Denni’s single “Runaways” ft. Greeley) produced the song, with Callum Ball (Wombat, Promise & Dunn D) providing extra finishing touches in the studio.

Although the song pays homage to living amongst the wilderness of lutruwita when compared to 'the big city life' - particularly during this global pandemic era - it’s sentiments of finding peace away from the rush of the rat race daily grind are relatable on a global scale. The anthemic chorus declares: “I need rugged scenery each day glimpsed! Amongst the lovely trees and the mateship!”, while the verses contrast “… living amongst the sewers and fumes” with needing to seek “… some peace in the place of the southerly breeze”.
