As a person, Jason Luxton’s broad interests in a wide range of material, from horror film scores to the haunting themes in gothic literature, have been a force behind his creative outlets. The Bournemouth-based producer's take on the genre is balanced on a razor's edge between functionality and experimentation. That careful contrast defines his tracks, which can be quiet and subdued or huge and immersive. Flagrantly disregarding tempo restrictions he effortlessly traverses from the beat-free passage into cyberpunk-tinged Techno fare.

Considering his one of a kind, dystopian aesthetic, it’s not a surprise his forward thinking releases graced such respected labels as Samurai, 31, Rupture or UVB-76.

The Austrian producer already showed his weapons in his first release on the amazing Kurnugû label and now offers us in this new EP 4 tracks full of personality and power including a collaboration with Parasite. Grumpy Halftime/Jungle wrapped with corrosive percussion, sinister bass and apocalyptic atmospheres. Kiri promises to make us vibrate a lot with his Drum & Bass, welcome to his dark hell.
