self-hatred and delusion,

and have God take me!

This is a song Chris wrote and asked me to play on. I love the lyrics and how they match the vibe of the song perfectly. He's playing guitar and bass, and I'm on the piano, slide, and organ. He told me it's supposed to be a whisper beneath the giant's bed as they tiptoe around under him, and that I should leave space for his breaths. I immensely enjoyed making this song with Chris, as always. Here are the lyrics. We hope you enjoy it. Wonderful lullaby, too. I've been listening to it in bed right before I go to sleep. Try it!
I played the piano on this. Chris played the guitar, sang it, and produced it.

Musically it is an attempt to showcase the storm and calm that anxiety can create in daily life. Lyrically it is about wanting to reset emotions and be free from worry and self doubt - to be yourself; a self without anxiety. This is a kind of conceptual art record.”
