I made experiment about music concrete on this track .
I recorded sound several times at the same point but another day .
I collaged them , changed texture after that .
I was born in Hokkaido , the nature of Hokkaido has been the source of my inspiration .
It seems to me that I captured the spirit called ' Kamuy '  to stay in the nature of Hokkaido .

Songster version was a little ‘copla’ about not being able to be with, nor without, a loved person.  As usual, I’ve ‘upgraded’ it, process from which you only get the final result, normally. 

But, following lyrics’ contradictions, I not only serve parts with different levels of (dis)order in heavy rock - flamenco sauce, but raw vs very cooked parts as well, starting with the improvised phone recording of the very first idea I had to develop the song, so please excuse my failures and noises.

Notes: 

	Nothing exists without the pieces...each piece adds its sliver of magic to the whole.  As the project grows, the magic grows beyond the boundaries of what was capable by the pieces alone.  The slivers ignite, they burn like a forge and melt the pieces together into something uniquely its own.

	Sitting in the production chair waiting for the pieces arrive... where the story starts and where it ends, is miles apart.  At some point in the process the magic seeps in and I marvel at how that comes about.  One moment you open the session and it is simply different...more alive...more of something. That's the thing worth chasing... it's worth witnessing...it's worth touching if only for a second.  

Tainted Icarus (Jeff) : Working on this has made me feel cooler than I have any right to feel.  I got to work on, play on and sing on a great song.  Jay nailed something great right from the start.  From the moment I heard it... I thought "Hell yeah... I want to be part of that".  Our first meeting, we all agreed  we are going to focus on crafting a piece of music that was something we wanted to listen to. Mission successful for me!!!

We have some things in the works as a band going by the name: The Welcome Parade.  I am very excited and hope to start sharing details soon!

An XMas Blues

I asked a group of artists (see below for all artist names) to send me 15-second songs which I then compiled into this project. My goal was to explore what sorts of sounds could be created from short "mini-songs" written entirely independently from each other. The participating artists created some beautiful music and I was delighted to work with what they produced.

Movement 1 compiles everyone's contributions into a medley. The individual 15-second songs are almost 100% unaltered, apart from occasional minor edits at points where they transition into each other.
