Bucharest's very own Costin Rp joins our Live Moments series with a flawless mix recorded at Gradina Monteru earlier last June. The Romanian DJ and producer is one of the most prolific in the minimal underground panorama, with an array of releases - mostly on vinyl - on labels such as Pressure Traxx, Purple Print, RE.FACE LTD, and Winder among many others. In his productions, as well as his DJ sets, he blends the modern minimal and microhouse vibes from his country with more housy flavours, and this extract from his Gradina Monteoru's set alongside fellow Romanians Sepp & Nu Zau is the perfect wrap of his charming groovy style. East London born and Essex raised producer & dj Josh Smith has been producing music and djing since 2016.

Early years in discovering electronic music his style and taste was darker and faster paced with Tech-House and Techno being the first real influence and gateway into the underground scene.

Josh would go onto release his first EP ‘Melodic Grooves’ with Antarctic Records the same year of 2016.

In more recent years Josh has gravitated towards more of the Rominimal and Microhouse sound. Definitely favouring the eastern european intimate tones and energies.

Josh has gone onto release records with The Lab Records, Whoystro Ltd, Tanapa Records, Microgarden Lab, and Miaw to name a few.

In 2021 he secured his first residency with the up and coming brand ‘Select Sounds’ this is currently where you can catch him showcasing his sound and mixing abilities.
