In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. 

This was recognized early on with labels like Romaniaís Tzinah Records, Moscowís Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016. Itís a label family that boasts some of the hottest new talent in minimal house and techno, giving rise to producers such as Germanyís Durrrred & Romanian young guns Dragutesku and RQZ. Their intuitive and forward thinking approach to minimalist music is creating sonic ripples throughout the global underground scene, challenging the existing boundaries of the genre once again.  

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12î releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germanyís almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno ís rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.

Vek Neirbo is the unruly alter-ego moniker of longtime U.S. based DJ and producer, Kev Obrien. 

Recently relocated in the Mile High City of Denver, Vek's musical focus is honed in on tripped-out, hypnotic minimal, tech house, and breakbeat -- best served after 4am, when the party is at its freakiest.  

In the daylight hours, he works full time as a Label Manager for underground labels such as Superlux Records, Eyedyllic Music, Moteur Ville Musique, and others --  collectively releasing music from artists such as Akufen, Delano Smith, Jay Tripwire, Mike Shannon, Robert James, Subb-An, Voigtmann, and many others.

Coming from Bucharest, Austin, on his real name Apostol Alexandru Augustin, was born in 1987, just two years before Romania claimed its independence. He had the first contact with music at the early age of 13 while playing the trumpet and learning music theory at Golgota Baptist Church Orchestra in Bucharest, an experience which clearly influenced his passion for music. Keeping this passion, he spends his teenage years exploring different genres of music until 2013 when he discovered Romanian electronic music and got in love with the uniqueness of the local minimal underground sound and scene. Starting as a Dj in 2017 he felt more attracted to music production and started intently producing beats in 2018, ever since he has been steadily releasing quite a list of tracks at different labels.

Techu has taken the minimal scene by storm, delving into sounds which capture organic grooves and driving rollers. He carefully crafts hypnotic bass lines and echoing patterns to elevate energy and dreamy frequencies.

From Romania, he started his path discovering his mixing style whilst creating his own productions, and has since had support across different countries and from big hitter DJs. Becoming quite a household name amongst clubs and dancers alike, this mix will definitely captivate your ears!

As of next month, the series will take you on a journey releasing every 4th Thursday of the month. Very excited to share what’s in store!

Primărie is a highly skilled DJ with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in playing music that uplifts spirits and incorporates future-fractal sounds. He is known for his ability to manage the tension between the power of the groove and the relief from high frequency vibrations. Primărie's realm includes his own record label, Tzinah Records, which features tunes that span a wide range of minimal and house genres, designed specifically for the most discerning dance floors. Dan Primaru, also known as Primărie, began his musical journey in 2007 after discovering his passion for DJing and club culture. He started his career with local radio gigs and exploring the Bucharest scene, but he soon realized that he wanted to create something unique for the community. In 2010, he founded his own record label, Tzinah Records. After spending some time in Berlin, he relocated to Romania, where he has performed at a variety of venues, from infamous after-parties to small, packed clubs, inducing smiles on underground dance floors throughout the country. Over the years, he has been invited to play at a wide range of unique clubs and events in major European cities. Recently, Primărie has expanded his DJing performances to other continents, secured a residency, and released an album of his own music productions, further adding value to Tzinah Records. With his own funk-related touch, Primărie captivates audiences with his sets and captures the hype from the Romanian electronic wave into his label. His minimalhouse style is unique and powerful, making a statement on its own. His ability to translate various influences into his music makes it difficult to categorize his style, but this only adds to his allure and appeal as a DJ.

Since his beginnings in 2007 and currently through Micronica, iOAN has crafted a very representative sound: a mixture of microhouse, minimal, hypnotism and a wide range of emotions.
