If you don't know what the amen break is then its about time you did. A six-second drum sample from the b-side of a chart-topping single from 1969 by the Winstons. Everyone is familiar with the amen break even if they don't know it. This mix explains the impact its had on underground music throughout the nineties and how its become so mainstream it now appears in adverts, tv theme tunes and pop songs. The mix features various tunes that use the amen and audio from Nate Harrison's 18 minute youtube video which explains the amen phenomenon in depth which is definitely worth look.

A reorchestration of the Game of Thrones theme. I made it from scratch to test some new sounds and mainly practice. Hopefully I kept the feel of the original while adding my own spin to the piece. It's definitely a lot more brassy than the original but hopefully that works okay.
