Kenny Ken - Rolling With The Ken 95 - May 1995

Amazingly it's been 8 years since vol 4! Since then not only have I filled in a few more gaps in my Dillinja collection, a bunch of his golden unreleased tracks from the 90s have since been released on Deep Jungle, Dom & Roland Productions and V Recordings.

So it felt like the right time for another installment - the longest yet at 2 hours (there was a lot to cram in!).

The sheer volume of work he put out in the 90s is staggering - there's still a few records I'm yet to collect and I've been at it for years. And imagine you're that good that your unreleased stuff from the 25 years ago still sounds as good, if not better than anything produced today? Legend.

Before we get to Mr. Reaper's mix, I am going to highlight 3 tracks from him that you need: Lanterns on Repertoire, Magic Tonight on AKO Arcade, and Lake Volta on Skeleton Recordings! This was difficult to narrow it down to just 3 tracks.

Tim Reaper's mix starts off, placid and serene, then it drops into some crisp amens, lush tunes with wicked, chopped breaks, and hardcore esque tracks!! An old school, jungle vibe pervades this mix, but as you'll see in the track list, this mix is full of the newest of the new, dubs!! This mix is a masterclass showcase of amazing tunes and superb, mixing skills!
