We were sitting around the fire — the whole gang from work —
after a full day of deep impressions, nature, and shared experiences.
Voices blended with the crackling wood.
I wanted to capture that warmth — that simple human stillness.

You can hear me say:

“Lars, no sound.”
“No music.”
“This is what I want.”
“No, no music.”
“Now you ruined it.”

…just as the random plonk fades in and the drums ignite.

These are the final recordings from that journey —
the last echoes of a trip that will stay with me forever,
quietly shaping what I create from here on.

That’s Bonfire — a moment between silence and sound,
where life itself decides when the music should begin. 🔥

Dub Puffin is the solo project of Bjorn Alpha (Alexandridis), an artist with roots in Iceland and Greece. The project explores the realms of psydub, blending modular synthesis, found sounds, and a wide palette of instruments into immersive soundscapes.
The first two EPs, Three Years at Sea and Transition, were released through Merkaba Music, and Dub Puffin’s debut full-length album is set to arrive soon.
Since launching the project in 2023, he has brought his immersive live sets to international stages, including a highlight performance at Ozora Festival 2025.
Beyond this project, Bjorn has been active in music production since 2011, composing and releasing under the alias Deep in Mind.
