Stiamo vivendo dentro una pazzia. Il mondo ha cambiato il suo aspetto, le città sono semi deserte perché le persone hanno paura ad uscire da casa. La propaganda, giorno dopo giorno, diffonde il timore verso qualcosa di invisibile. I governi ne approfittano per avere ordine e sottomissione, facendoci vivere in costante emergenza, promulgando leggi che uccidono la libertà dell'individuo. È un mondo di pazzi. Per non farci agganciare dalla propaganda, che vuole un'immagine di mondo distorta che distrugge l'essenza dell'uomo, ci affidiamo alla creatività, per superare e resistere alla costante pressione. Cerco dentro e non fuori per dare un senso, poiché, quello che mi danno loro, non ha senso. Dobbiamo difendere a tutti i costi la nostra vita, la vita dell'essere umano. Dobbiamo pensare all'umanità che verrà domani, preservando noi stessi dalle loro manipolazioni. Chi dirige la società rema contro l'individuo al punto di volersene sbarazzare quasi fosse un peso insopportabile, di conseguenza stiamo vivendo in una distopia "tecnologica", pertanto è fondamentale rimanere presenti a se stessi, in ogni momento della vita. Trojan Reloaded have proudly announced details of their newest musical offering ‘The Music’,  a brand new EP from one of the UK’s leading sound system collectives- Reggae Roast. Comprised of five tracks, the record features an all-star lineup of musical greats with features from the likes of  Brother Culture, Jah Screechy, Natty Campbell, Shumba Youth, Donavon King Jay, and Clapper Priest.

Since forming in 2007, Reggae Roast have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the UK Dub / Reggae scene. The release of ‘The Music’ EP breathes new life into a sound system classic affirming Reggae Roast as key players in the new wave of British Reggae all whilst keeping the original spirit of the genre alive.

The EP features five tracks on the 'None a Jah Jah Children No Cry' riddim, originally recorded by Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus in 1975, and remade by Fashion Records in the late 1980's for the track 'We a Blood' by Junior Delgado, both of which went on to become classics in the reggae and sound system world.
‘The Music’ EP  reversions these tracks to give them space and cultural relevance within the 21st century, with brand new vocal cuts from some of the most talented MCs and vocalists in the country including Brother Culture and Jah Screechy.

It also features a brilliant all-star track featuring all the Reggae Roast Soundsystem vocalists, with Donovan Kingjay, Brother Culture, Natty Campbell, Clapper Priest and Shumba Youth, each on their own verses, collectively offering a real fusion of mix and sounds.

Reggae Roast are signed to Trojan records imprint label, Trojan Reloaded with the collectives debut album to be released via the new label.

Dub.Rebels is a dub and reggae music project from Palermo, Sicily, halfway between a DJ set and a live band act, a combo of digital self-productions, deep and powerful basslines and pre-recorded voice tracks that alternate with parts sung live.

In Spring of 2019 Paolo Gurgone - active since the early nineties as a guitarist and bassist of bands from Palermo's punk-rock and HC scene (Session Eight, Merry-go-round and Tagliamidettagli) then turned to Ska and Reggae/Rock Steady (Cheech Skaos, Joker Smoker) and later on to Rap & Rock (Gente Strana Posse) - contacted Marco BissoMaN, a dub and reggae veteran DJ selecta and producer over the last two decades with Macume.snd, to give life to a brand-new project. 

The two friends merged forces to give life to an innovative sound, united by the same lifelong passion for reggae and dub music. In the last year Dub.Rebels, now grown to a trio with the entry of French Davy Deglave, the singer of Matrimia, on vocals, was inevitably forced to stop playing live due to the Covid-19 situation, except for a couple of live streaming events on Facebook. 

However the pandemic did not prevent Paolo and BissoMaN from working on new stuff, even though from a distance, each in his own home-studio environment, and now they have more than 20 new songs, mostly remixes and dub renditions of songs from gigantic artists such as Ennio Morricone, Björk, Dubmatix, Dub Pistols and Morgan Heritage to name only a few.
