Avenue Red welcomes the big man from Nice, South of France, Anthony Georges Patrice. An awesome and widely entertaining all-round figure in the deep house/techno fraternity, Anthony runs the Lessenorg radio shows and produces awesome music for some of our favourite labels including his own imprint, Ausblick, when he's not busy spinning around the best clubs in Europe! Now based in Berlin, his club shows at places like Club der Visionäre have bought in some Avenue Red regulars including the likes of OHM str8 outta Copenhagen, with whom Anthony is fast becoming a strong music release cohort... it's so great to see the true underground deep music heads all coming together! :)

This mix is shot straight from the hip for Avenue Red, what a great heads-down, deep grooving session this is! Headphones on, let's do this all in one go.

Really happy to host the lads from Quadrant Soundscape as we are regulars to their mixes and radio shows alike. 

A few words from Quadrant Soundscape:

Firstly thanks for having us be part of the mix series, we've been big fans of Primary Colours for a long time and it's an honour to sit alongside such a stellar list of Artists. 

For this mix we wanted to create a journey in sound that reflects the sort of stuff we would play in an early festival slot. Starting off nice and deep with tracks from Fred P, Deepchord, Cv313 and Federsen we want you to feel like you are just climbing out from your tent after a heavy party the night before and being washed over with layers of bass, synths and beautiful atmospherics. 

As the mix progresses we move through a blend of newer bits and some older classics that keep the heads nodding and the shoulders swaying. Towards the end of the mix we really try to get things moving with the eternal sounds of Basic Channel as well as killer records from Gradient and Grad_U, not forgetting the heavily played Luke Hess Remix of Echo Inspectors - Lunar Shadows before finally ending on the simply beautiful 'Obsession' from TM Shuffle & Tapani Rinne. 

We had a lot of fun recording this and we hope you enjoy listening.
