Quantec alias Sven Schienhammer grew up in the '80s. Producing and remixing electronic music since 1995 first using hardware tools such as Rolands MC 505 and a 303 with some efx tools.

Now the studio is hardware and software in symbiosis. Using some oldschool synths from the 70's & 80's for the love of the lo-fi feeling of those machines! The sounds are digitized thoughts and emotions.

Personal favourite styles in music include detroit and dubby electronics, deep house, dub, roots reggae, drones, ambient and some experimental stuff. He also releases music as Monoaxial and Sven Schienhammer.

"Spacelunch" (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody. The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.

In the last three years, Altstadt Echo has accomplished what most up-and-coming artists only talk about: a handful of vinyl and cassette releases, performances at respected clubs and festivals like Tresor, Griessmuehle, and Movement Detroit, and the curation of an event series - Modern Cathedrals presents Eden - that has become a fixture of local underground culture. His musical signature combines lamenting and ethereal atmospheres with eroded, broken-beat percussion. Drawing inspiration from modern literature, Altstadt Echo imbues his music with somber reflection on the process of trying to create meaning in modern life. He's been remixed by electronic music leaders across the world - from Erika and Terrence Dixon in Detroit to Anthony Linell and Varg in Europe. He's been called "Detroit techno's new guard" by Resident Advisor, "the avant-garde element to Detroit Techno" by SPIN Magazine, and "one of Detroit's fastest rising electronic music names" by the Detroit Free Press. His tracks have been featured on Regis mixtapes, written-up by Resident Advisor, and sold out at Hardwax.
