Making his 3rd appearance on the OTW channel in just over 7 days, Housty is back with another stormer, this time linking up with TS Audio head-honcho Rezin on the stellar 'Counterfeit', another standout offering from Housty's upcoming EP. We hosted Rezin's well-received 'Dread Command' free DL back in October, and since then both artist and imprint have cemented themselves as real ones-to-watch, repping alongside Housty as an energising trifecta of nu-skool Drum & Bass talent. Making strong movement across both the Bristol and Hereford scenes, the forward-thinking, minimally-minded Dubruvvas duo have been incredibly impressive as of late. Hastily swinging a double edged clever of methodical efficiency and high-scale production prowess, they’ve made a serious, sustained impact on release for the likes of TS Audio, Identity Records, The Mob Recordings, Deeper DnB, Invicta Audio and more, taking in many of the illustrative facets and pivots of the wider drum & bass spectrum along the way.

‘Third Eye’ excels in its wonderful simplicity; a less-is-more approach is executed to its full potential, with syncopated wobbles, sinister background movements and scything, clattering percussive elements all merging together into a melting pot of top-drawer drum & bass, further blurring the lines between the minimal sound and the more rolling sonics that are oh so popular at present.

OTW Premiere: Dubruvvas - Third Eye [The Juicebox]

Biological brothers making waves. 

Drawing inspiration from their hometown of Bristol and a passion for the UK’s underground music scene, Dubruvvas have developed a unique connection through their DJ performances and creative process.

Since first establishing themselves in 2021, the duo have gone from strength to strength. Fusing rolling basslines with tight, punchy drums, their distinctive approach to sound design has earned the respect of both their peers and devoted audiences. Starting with DJ sets in Bristol, Dubruvvas have expanded their reach across the UK, playing festivals, selling out shows, and, as of 2024, securing their first international booking in Vienna, Austria.
