Richie Stephens, the famous lover’s rock crooner and dancehall producer will release the Skyscraper Riddim on his Pot Of Gold label, distributed by New York based DubShot Records, November 24, 2017. 

The first song recorded on the riddim was with Goofy aka Mr. G, an artist and well respected producer for Young Blood Records, who encouraged Richie to put out the riddim now. So the two veteran artists put together the first track “Him Or Me.” After that he checked for young talent so reached out to Dexta Daps who came with a wicked song, then Christoper Martin, Romain Virgo, and two of Richie’s favorite lyricists when it comes to Deejay business: Professor Nuts and Agent Sasco to do a combination. Richie said as he described the recording process “I always like to introduce new talent when I am in the studio, so we featured a popular dancer named Hunter who has a great voice and put a killer song called Duppy Bat to round out the selections. I am excited to present this new riddim to the world and look forward to hear the reaction from the public.”

Once in a while Dancehall is revitalized with new life, its audience embraces that talent and out of it a new genre of entertainment is born. Chi Ching Ching Born Radion Beckford in 1982 in St Mary, Jamaica and raised by his father in New Kingston, where he also attended school. In 2003 the family moved to Golden Spring, St Andrew and Chi Ching Ching set about making his dreams of becoming a star a reality. The name CHI-CHING-CHING was born when he started creating slangs mostly comical and very catchy. Children started adopted those slangs and everywhere he went the children in the communities would be calling out Chi Ching Ching. With Dancehall's pop culture of video-recorded Street Dances, the world took notice of Jamaican residential party nights. Chi Ching Ching soon became the popular face of dances such as Early Mondays, Passa Passa, Weddy Weddy, Dutty Fridaze, and Hot Monday. While his dance moves caught on quickly, eventually he got into recording. His debut song, Lock Pon Di Ting, was released in 2014, followed by Popcorn Pop. Ching has recently re-affiliated himself with chart topping dancehall superstar Sean Paul and his label Dutty Rock Productions. The Dutty Rock Productions team gave Chi Ching Ching one of his first big breaks as an intro/outro cameo on the video for “Hit Em” from Farenheit feat Sean Paul and Jigzagula. In 2017, Chi Ching Ching has been touring non-stop with Sean Paul while working on singles like “Rock Di World” and a soon to be announced remix, in preparation for his 2018 album launch.
