Starting with a delightfully funky rhythm, “Young and Wreckless” takes full advantage of the wobbling midrange to create a distinctly unsteady vibe while the crisp and straightforward drums do their upmost to keep everything well-contained. TriCosta adds vocals to the track, belting line after line overtop KDrew’s furious dubstep onslaught. The blend of screaming and guttural, growling bass are highly reminiscent of the recent Knife Party EP, but the similarity ends there, KDrew quickly familiarizes us with his signature synth-work and fantastic melodies that set him apart from the pack.
