Featuring 4 tracks from the DubTastic studio, available on LTD 10" Vinyl & Digital available via Bandcamp and Juno

Kicking off with 'SubSonic Particles' the atmosphere builds steadily in the intro, mixing percussion with the Trombone the tension rises then drops with a warm dubstep riddim riding along at 140 bpm

Next up 'Khush' loops sounds from the east. Based on a steppas vibe the bass steadily rolls whilst the beat moves your feet. 136 bpm

Tony comes in again with 'descent into Babylon' setting the scene with a skank, the synths and fx merge then drops into a skippy beat and heavy bass. The atmoshere slowly builds up again for the second drop where the percussion and fx elements  take control of the dub   142bpm

Finally 'Dub Rover' merges elements of reggae, dub and hip hop. Heavy bass notes with a melodic skank form a groove that bounces around and gets you moving 

The concept behind the release started off by taking some DubTastic Dubs to Vanguard Studios where Bill Reaction alongside the Tony Trombony passed the tracks through various bits of old hardware compressors/expanders/fx/synths to add analog dynamics. We had fun modelling sounds in the synths and dubbing the sounds with some old tape echoes and spring/plate reverbs. Many thanks to Tony Trombony and all the Vanguard Studio crew!!
