An entry for Ambient Online's One Sample Dare 34, this has as its sole basis http://soundcloud.com/ao_onesampledare/one-sample-dare-34-sample-file , recorded by AO member Codehead. Many manipulations and iterations occurred; cutting, pasting, stretching, delays, reverbs, taking the rendered output and subjecting it to further mutation... in any case, this is decidedly meant to cause the listener's attention to drift, and prompt the imagination to go whither it may- perhaps assisting to remember last night's forgotten dream; this track has been engineered to have very slow and subtle changes beyond the obvious fluctuations. Let the volume remain low and don't try to focus intensely on what's happening in your ears, and what's between them will benefit ;)

Oneo Fakind - Subtle Signs of Our Truer Selves

This is a quick sound sketch of an old tree. I was attempting to capture an imagined time and place at the foot of an ancient oak. 

The sounds include piano, cello, some sampled horns and wood creaks, and a close recording of a beanbag to create the impression of wind through leaves.

The composition is generative and was performed live with some gestural controls.
