"During lockdown, the musicians deceive boredom by creating, from cozy home-studios or with the means at their disposal, reconnecting old obsessions or being inspired by this new relationship with time at home, doubt and atmosphere of the moment. Ideas burst like droplets in the air.
During the epidemic, hospital staff were on the front line. While the crises highlights the failures of a sickening system, the caregivers are afraid of being overwhelmed, saturated, and also of being contaminated while still continuing to do their work.
For more than 20 years, a neoliberal policy worked methodically to ransack the public hospital. And today, after 8 months of strike and demonstration last year (in France), it would be enough to qualify them as heroes and hear the applause at 8 p.m. to refrain from rendering accounts.
