Introducing Karl Fraunhofer
This edition features Det Gode Selskab resident and studio wizard Karl Fraunhofer, a key figure within our collective family. Known for his experimental yet direct approach to sound, Karl is a producer, DJ, and sound engineer with a knack for turning abstract synthesized fantasies into danceable realities. Drawing from a spectrum of influences that span from old school techno, through house and left-field electronica, Karl’s work encapsulates the adventurous spirit of Det Gode Selskab.

With releases on our label and beyond, Karl’s productions are lauded for their intricate layers and energetic grooves. Whether crafting tracks in the DGS-studio or delivering high energy sets behind the decks, Karl’s artistry is a reflection of his pursuit of innovation, keeping true to his sonic identity.

Karl Fraunhofer’s contribution to the Det Gode Selskab DJ Mix series is a live recording from our residency at Jæger in Tiger City. Expect a fusion of hypnotic grooves, driving rhythms, and unexpected twists that challenge and celebrate the boundaries of electronic music. Designed for Saturdays and the peak of the dancefloor, this mix is a testament to Karl’s signature style and his ability to craft a musical journey. Let’s Go, Tigers!

Our latest premiere is a deep groove from Saturday Vibes from the full-length album - 'A Guy Called Mr.Funky'. This track, 'Flash in Darkness', reminded us of early Folamour work.

The album covers and incredibly broad palette of sounds and textures, from balearic to deep house. All of the upmost quality.

“I can't say that I feel any particular emotion while working, whether it's joy or something else, I just get sucked into the process. At the same time I really like, besides working directly with the sound, to come up with a kind of story that will guide the listener throughout the album, it becomes the basis of the concept of the release”.

PREMIERE: Saturday Vibes - Flash in Darkness [Rewind]

DJ collective and events started by Hastings selectors Killian, Alfie & Linda, Due Course are making waves in the local scene with their House, Tech House and Minimal sound. 

For those who know the three founders, we don’t need to say much more. But for those who don’t, Killian is an experienced Irish born, Hastings local who’s played at all the area’s biggest bars & clubs. Previously a resident DJ at The Crypt, Moda, Blackbox & more, he’s played alongside some big names in the industry such as Danny Howard, Sammy Porter, Philip George and Sam Supplier to name a few. 

His protégés Alfie and Linda have broken into the scene at pace, quickly gaining a good following and reputation, proving their quality and potential. In 2025 the group brought in new resident DJs and producers such as Dysco, Biz and MxriaSophiaa who have all been quickly gaining reputations for all the right reasons! They’re smashing it! 🔥

2024 was a groundbreaking year for the group, with them making debuts in Ibiza and at Bexfest, going on to perform there again in 2025 for the second year running as well as Hastings Beer & Music Festival, both the areas biggest festivals in the same weekend! Must be doing something right 😏

Not to forget many of their own events too this year! This is an act not to be missed, you’ll find out in due course.. 👀
