The original release package of “Turn Away” dropped in December 2014 with club and radio support from Grant Nelson, Booker T, Jask, Husky and Groove Junkies to name a few. Bringing a fresh approach is dutch producer Eric Jadi. Richard Earnshaw also supplies his own re-edit with a few drum tweaks and arrangement.

Random Soul return with a carefully crafted EP, rich in all the trimmings required for any deep house connoisseur. The title track ‘Could Be Down’ rises from a looped vocal sample and kicks in with a driving 90’s organ feel. A pulsing bassline drives this track from section to section as it continues to evolve and pick up energy. It’s a peak-time house essential! 

Next up is ‘This Heart Of Mine’. It is a slightly slower track with a more hypnotic and classic approach. Building sections of chords and melodic stabs help to bring the track gracefully to the soulful piano chords of the breakdown, which transport you to many club situations with hands in the air, waiting for the drop.

On the remix for the title track is Polish groove aficionado, Deeplomatik. Best known for his records on Miguel Mig’s Salted Music, Deeplomatik exercises his expertise in moody, melodic chords to bring his remix of ‘Could Be Down’ towards the light. A brilliant remix with his trademark smooth touch. 

This is an essential EP for any underground house lover.

Jay Nemor:
American/ Icelandic singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist Jay Nemor (Jason Nemor Harden) is deeply connected to the very roots of soul music. He comes with a smooth and soulful style that is in touch with the classic sound of soul & RnB. He imparts a passionate message for life, love and music with his signature bass-baritone voice.

Opolopo:
OPOLOPO is Yoruban for 'plenty', a word that best exemplifies the diversity of this musician, dj, remixer, composer and production wizard’s voyage! Whether it's funk, house, or future soul, his compositions and productions are always uncompromising with a steady gaze on the horizon and a quick glance in the rear-view mirror.

Addvibe:
Ran Thang Records in the 90s with several 12'. Releases the acclaimed album Luv & Happiness on Disfunction in 2001. Had a break from production, but came back with full force in 2014 with his Lux Experience moniker. Also several releases on Cyberjamz, amongst others his amazing remix of Jay Nemor's Music Suite Soul.

hWah:
Newbie hWah had his first release in 2014 on Giant Cuts with his Stellar Disco EP. From then he has focus his efforts on remixes and original productions. His first remix was the Stellar Disco Remix of Harold Brandon's Your Pain. Look out for more releases in the near future."

"Let Me" caught the ear of ZR so we've licensed it and employed Sean McCabe to give it a brand new 4/4 treatment. Three mixes, straight up sophisticated soulful house on the Main Vocal Mix, a more tracky housed up Let Me Out Dub, whilst the Classic Soul mix is more laid back utilising some of the originals musical elements.

Our 48th release comes from Sydney's emerging house music talent, Karl Sierra. Karl first appeared on our radar with a dope deep house track "Underground Talk" which we snapped up for our 'Essential Rhythms' series.

This 'Moonlighting EP' is a dope 3 track EP showcasing Karl's production skills by formulating a soulful, funky and deeper house EP to slot perfectly into the Australian summer season.

"Moonlighting" grooves solidly with a hypnotic chord, shimmering arps and background melodies, a real deep house essential. Then Karl Fuses disco elements with classic funky house to create the stripped back Rhodes led cut, "Cos' Of You". Finally we have "Calabria Funk" with a brass synth and all the NuDisco feels perfect for the sunshine.
