This new vinyl dj-mix of mine is a genre-shattering blend of obnoxious electronica, offbeat poetic breakcore, technological terror, German industrial, black ambient, melancholic electro, dreamy house and some other more unearthly sounds, all mixed together flawlessly, or nearly so at least. ;)

Suffice to say, it is kinda experimental, so I'm curious what you think of it. :)

Aphex Twin threw down an epic set for the Ages at the Day for Night Festival in Houston, Texas on 12-17-2016. It was a non-stop 2 hour eargasm. Thanks Richard, it was worth the 20+ wait to see you!

This recording includes part of DJ set by someone else for the first 10.5 minutes before AFX got started. I wasn't sure when I uploaded so included it all uncut.

Lisbon is enjoy plenty of time in the spotlight at the moment, not least thanks to artists like Violet, who is busy on many different fronts at once. As a lone force she producers anything from big techno breakbeats to rave tinged acid house. Next to that she’s also co-founded Radio Quântica, which is an essential platform for local underground artists and activists. She also performs as part of an all female rap group and covers classic tunes made solely by woman. Besides that, she even found time to start her own new label, Naive, this year. 

It should come as no surprise that such an active mind packs a lot into her 75 minute mix. Tripped out cosmic breakbeats kick things off before the drums grow more distorted and synths begin to howl as you’re dumped onto a dance floor at 3am. A subtle rave euphoria washes over the mid section before dusty breakbeats and slippery electro see things out. Despite the driving nature of the underlying drums, this is a mix that exudes warmth, soul and romance.

Duistere Bardo is an electronic artist, DJ and poet from The Hague, The Netherlands, who can nowadays be mostly found at clandestine parties throughout the Netherlands. He is especially fond of creating curious blends of eccentric electronic music from a wide range of styles, ranging from anything from West Coast house, raw acid and obscure electro, to industrial techno, old school hardcore, forgotten breakcore and Japanese noise. Ideally he mixes his selections into meticulous compositions, tempting the audience into musical territories they usually would not dare to trespass. With his DJ sets, Duistere Bardo tries to let the audience glimpse at hidden extra-sensory realms, in order to become familiar with unknown cosmic realities beyond the all too familiar material plane – even if for just a short passing moment in time.

Next to this, Duistere Bardo hosts the radio show ‘Het Schimmengebied’ on Radio Tonka every 1st Thursday of the month from 23.00 till 0.00 CET, where he plays an ever greater variety of experimental music and sounds, and occasionally invites strange and notorious guests from the international avant-garde music scene of The Hague.
