Immersive love's firm resident Genis Remacha @genisremacha have prepared a special mixtape for us to listen a the day before solar eclipse.

I am pleased to share with you this set, carefully crafted in my studio. 
It combines a selection of ambient music and piano-based compositions, 
enriched with additional sound layers. The playlist draws from my 
personal collection, featuring artists who deeply 
inspire me, such as André Laplante, Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, 
Hania Rani, and Matthew Halsall.

Immersive love - Guest Mix 012 (Genis Remacha)

The In the Moment Remix Tape reworks the already-chopped, altered, and looped spontaneous compositions of Makaya McCraven's 2xLP In the Moment. Crossing the boundaries of improvisation, composition and sampling, nine producer/beat makers from around the globe reworked the tracks into new beats and creations of repurposed audio. Makaya then remixed their remixes into two continuous mixtape sides, blending them with beats of his own, resampling the samplers of his original sliced and sampled spontaneous compositions.

first experiments with a sherman filterbank 2... processing some bell loops. i love how the harsh sound of the sherman puts such an edge and fragility on the bells, yet doesn't take away from the beauty. it's a knife's edge as the sounds hover on the verge of resonance.

this is a piano sound from a yamaha reface CP, looped and processed through a couple of strange guitar pedals. the skies are super dark and a really steady windless rain is falling. hitting the studio roof louder than this loop.
