This new project is the most personal thing I have ever done, and it is as exciting as it is nerve racking for me to be able to share my first song with you.

And this is a little about the journey to now..

A Confession. An Introduction.

My greatest fear has always been not being judged a success. I have used this drive to produce and tour music for mass audiences, record and build careers for other artists, create large scale live experiences. 

And I am very pleased that some of these managed to succeed at the absolute highest level. Allowing my head to lead served me well. It really did.

But something changed.

I acknowledged my need to create something using my heart rather than my head. The inspiration to ignore everything that music can do for me and be driven by what music means to me led to the creation of this project. To share just what that meaning is, I must start at the beginning.

Nothing feels quite like the music you first fall in love with. It was yours. It took you beyond your conscious, it healed, it introduced you to cool. Before recording a sound, I focused purely on that feeling. I took myself to those moment, and forgot all that I understood about what makes music succeed and just loved what pulsed from the speakers. This was my only inspiration.

I am smiling as I write these words because the result of recording music inspired by everything I love has led to this, the most honest and personal thing I have ever created. And I hope you find something in it to enjoy.
